Ian and Grace were destined to meet. Her father has a gambling addiction since the death of his wife and he has gambled away Grace’s dowry, his wife’s jewels and let servants go since he could no longer afford their salaries. Ian owns a gambling club called, The Raven, and is a favorite of the Baron’s. Grace goes there to settle her father’s debt and to ask that he not be granted admittance with the last piece of jewelry that she’d hidden belonging to her mother. Ian needs a tutor on the behavior of noblemen so that he can re-enter society so that his two younger sisters can have their coming out balls. A deal is struck which leads to much more.
