Description
In this series, we will be covering all things preconception, fertility, pregnancy in each trimester, labor and delivery preparation, and birth. In this episode, we chat through the in’s and out’s of preconception. We got the chance to chat with preconception specialist: Cait Crowell.
Cait Crowell is a root cause practitioner and the founder of Crowell + Co: a fully online, remote health practice that focuses on root cause healing for people who want answers to their chronic health challenges. The hundreds of clients Cait + her team work with each year are people who are sick of seeing multiple providers and being told "everything is normal", and they're ready to get their health + their lives back. Cait + her team ask questions most practitioners don't think of and find answers most people aren't aware of, things like stealth infections of mold, lyme + co-infections, metabolic dysfunction, and inflammation + immune system regulation.
When do I need to start preparing my body for pregnancy? What are some things I should be doing/ not doing? What should my husband be doing/ not doing? What about nutrition and exercise? What should we know about hormone health and blood panals? Are gene mutations affecting my chances of conceiving? How do I build a care team in the preconception period to be able to ensure a healthy pregnancy?
