Description

In this series, we will be hearing from women about their experience with birth. We will be hearing the in’s and out’s of how their births felt for them, what they chose and why they chose that, and experience it alongside them as they relive it for themselves!

In this episode, we chat with Taylor about her first birth in a hospital, as well as her second birth in a birthing center. Taylor shares how positive of an experience she had at the hospital, and yet why she also chose not to return for her second birth. She chats through how calm and attentive her midwife was, as well as the dichotomy of needing to trust her body to tell her what to do during labor. She talks through the differences in her births, and why she believes the one in the birthing center actually went more smoothly.

Taylor mentions the medical issues she experienced with her first son, Asa, briefly in this episode. If you are wanting to hear more about that, please visit her instagram page for more of her story @tay.flanagan.
