Description
In this series, we will be hearing from women about their experience with birth. We will be hearing the in’s and out’s of how their births felt for them, what they chose and why they chose that, and experience it alongside them as they relive it for themselves!
Meet Stephanie!
Stephanie lives in Colorado with her husband, Joey of 6 years, her 3 year old son, Judah, and her 15 month old daughter, Shiloh. She stays at home with her kids as she has always dreamt of. She is extremely passionate about the rhythms of her home, homemaking, and spiritual disciplines within her home. Her family desires to cultivate an atmosphere of peace in their home and lives and she longs to share more about this in her book that she is in process of writing and publishing!
In this episode, Stephanie shares about the unfolding of her first birth with her son, Judah, which included pre-eclampsia, placental abruption, an emergency c-section, and NICU time. With her second baby, Stephanie educated herself and prepared for birth through a very intentional pregnancy. She fought hard through an unexpected induction, fear-mongering from doctors, and an unmedicated labor to have the redemptive VBAC birth experience that she did with her daughter, Shiloh.
