Sunshine and rainbows,

Smiles and hugs,

Let all the good shine through. 

Butterflies and beaches,

The promise of the day,

It’s all right here for you. 

PAUSE…

So let down your guard,

And open your heart,

And release what’s heavy inside. 

The pressures you feel,

The shadows of fears,

The rivers of tears you’ve cried. 

PAUSE…

You think they’re forever,

You think that you’re stuck,

That these are your crosses to bear.

My dear don’t you know,

If you loosen your grip,

They’ll dissolve away, I swear.

So soften your face,

And let yourself melt,

Releasing it all with a sigh.

Make room for the good,

Breathe in as you do,

There’s never a lack of supply.
