The Womeness Podcast is honored to get to share space this week with a familiar face to the Womeness Community. Lauren Lee (your friendly meditation guide) is a certified Chopra meditation teacher and Buddhist meditation teacher with The Path. A registered Gentle Therapeutics yoga teacher, former host of the top 40 spiritual podcast- Inner Guidance Daily, and the creator behind Calm Point.
On this week’s episode, Lauren shares her perspective on “mindfulness”, what it means, and actionable ways to be more present and mindful in our day to day lives (and it’s not just limited to meditation).
She also shares her spiritual journey up to her recent endeavor of studying Compassion at the Harvard Extension School and MBSR Meditation Training at University of Massachusetts.
We dig deep into the layers of compassion with self and others and Lauren provides us with 3 steps towards self-compassion when we get down on ourselves. Leading to a vulnerable moment with Lauren and how compassion can lead to forgiveness.
