Description

NYC Comedian and ESPN College Basketball commentator, Noah Savage, joins the show to share his first hand experience with contracting Coronavirus in the midst of his symptoms. His original Professional Athlete Podcast episode was recorded prior to Noah's contraction of COVID-19 and is scheduled to launch next Tuesday, 3/24. However, after Noah was tested and confirmed to have contracted Corona Virus he was kind enough given the circumstances to jump back on and share with listeners what his experience has been like in actually dealing with the virus that has brought the global community to a screeching halt. In the show he shares what circumstances allowed for him to actually get a test in NYC. What the Coronavirus test experience was like. How he and his wife are handling their joint quarantine. Explains his symptoms, prescribed treatment and shares how he has handled this entire challenge mentally.  To all those who listen, we hope you stay safe out there and if you have any questions with regard to symptoms, or how to protect yourself and loved ones please visit the CDC's Coronavirus Disease 2019 site for more information. Founded with the belief that what makes a great athlete makes a great person, each week Ken interviews the brightest minds in sports performance, strength and conditioning, mental performance and wellness to understand what today's elite athletes are doing to perform at the highest levels. Through exploration of new concepts and methods he’ll seek to understand how you can apply this to reach your own athletic goals, but more importantly your potential as a person. Because although your playing days might be behind you, don’t you owe it to yourself and those who count on you to approach your role as Partner, Parent and Professional with the same commitment to greatness?
