Description

If it feels like the countless training programs, or diets you’ve tried are not getting you to where you want to be. According to Christian, the program your choosing might not be broken, it just might not be the right approach for your brain chemistry. Today’s guest Christian Thibaudeau introduces listeners to his neurotyping system. An alternative approach to selecting the best suited programming, nutrition and supplement regime based on an individual's neurological traits. Christian explains how they perform the Neurotype testing. The role of neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin and adrenaline and how they impact the way we experience and interact with the outside world. How this directly impacts the way you respond to training. Christian pulls no punches and explains why “your kids suck and it’s your fault”. The risk of dopamine overstimulation. They way in which individuals respond to neurotransmitters differently and why an individual may be more receptive to one verse the other. His team’s approach to testing, realistic limitations and why the term pseudoscience shouldn’t send you running for the hills. He shares how this individual variance expresses itself in terms of an individual athlete’s response to types of training. Why motivation is a key determinant of success, but we have to start with identifying the correct catalysts. An explanation for why some individuals truly lack empathy, but aren’t necessarily bad people. The neurotransmitter most closely linked with superior athletic ability and why creativity is a key supplemental environmental ingredient. The true role of stress, and it’s many physiological and neurological implications. Lastly, Chris gives a brief overview of his Neurotyping classifications and what traits are most closely aligned with the individuals who fall into the subsequent categories.
