Settle in comfortably
and allow yourself
to quiet all the noise
that wants to clutter your mind.
 PAUSE…
Simply watch the stray thoughts float away,
and watch them dissolve.
 PAUSE…
And then,
just relax into the thought that
this is your time.
PAUSE…
This is your time.
PAUSE…
So, take a deep cleansing breath
as you greet the morning.
PAUSE…
And then take in another breath
and let it open you and
fill you with the possibilities
of the day.
PAUSE…
Now, imagine you’ve been gifted
with a pair of glasses.
And, through those glasses,
you see the world
in all its different colors, shapes and
through the eyes of many different people.
PAUSE…
The world you see is rich with differences,
yet they appear vibrant and flowing
with their energy humming all around you.
PAUSE…
While exploring the world,
you have a sense that it
is evolving,
and that something that looks one way
at one moment
could look different in the next moment.
And that energy feels positive to you, like growth.
 PAUSE…
As you embrace that energy,
it sparks a connection in you,
a feeling that you and your differences,
your uniqueness,
are rich and graceful and beautiful.
PAUSE…
And while you continue gazing
at the world,
you become aware that all these differences,
all these unique perspectives,
come together in radiant splendor.
PAUSE…
Now, breathe deeply once more,
and embrace your own radiant splendor–
your own uniqueness–
as it shines in a magnificent sea of differences.
