You might recall there were extensive renovations to Tom Lee Park recently and the MIM Festival this year evidentially did EXTENSIVE damage to the park...to the tune of $1.4 million dollars!!! The Memphis in May International Festival is being required to pay a little more than $675,000 to the Memphis River Parks Partnership to remedy those repairs and it's due on August 12th. Could this spell the end of MIM forever, will the event have to move to a new location next year and going forward, does MIM have $675,000 to pay out for those listed damages??
