Today I have my 1st ever podcast guest. So today is part one of my conversation with Lauren Eirk. We are talking about exercise, its importance, how to start, how to get the motivation to move, body image, and what to do for physical activity if you have chronic pain or a condition like fibromyalgia. My guest is Lauren Eirk. She the owner of Fitness Integrated Science, a personal training studio in Louisville, KY, offering Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT), Yoga Therapy, Pilates, and Personal Training services.Lauren holds a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and a Master's degree in HealthFitness Management. She is a registered Yoga Instructor, a Certified Yoga Therapistwith the International Association of Yoga Therapy, a continuing education provider forYoga Alliance, and the developer of the Yoga Integrated Science; Teacher TrainingProgram. Lauren is also a MAT-Rx Certified Full-Body Specialist and Master LevelMAT Specialist.She has spent her life teaching and studying in the health, fitness, and yogacommunities.  Lauren’s training has made her highly sensitive to clients with complex, on-going neuro-muscular issues, helping her clients to navigate an effective exercise plan to accomplish their goals.
