We will be talking about pelvic dysfunction in both men and women and available therapies. Theresa is a physical therapist who specializes in pelvic health.  During this interview we discuss various dysfunctions of the pelvis- in both men and women, the role of pelvic PT in treatment, how fibromyalgia and pelvic pain or pelvic dysfunction maybe connected, pain after childbearing and sexual trauma and we will touch on the sex and intimacy. Today is the part 1 of the interview.  Theresa earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from The University of Pittsburgh. As a physical therapist, she has over 35 years of clinical practice experience working in inpatient acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient orthopedics.  She has served in clinical management roles throughout her career, but her clinical focus has been on the education and treatment of women’s and men’s pelvic health.
