Like a warm hug on a cold night, the Hot Toddy is there to embrace you in its spirit-honey-citrus goodness. Jules throws a curveball and serves up a Warm Negroni, honestly… it’s really good, but you’ll have to decide which you like best. Don’t miss this episode! 

How to make the Hot Toddy

Put on a kettle of water and heat it up (but no need to bring to boil)

Grab a warmed mug (8oz - 10oz) 

Add 1 Tblsp of (good) Honey 

Fill mug halfway with hot water and stir to get honey off tablespoon

Add 1.5oz. of Dark Rum

Add .5 oz. of Amaretto liqueur 

Add lemon wheel

Top off with hot water

Zest nutmeg over the top


How to make the Hot Negroni

Warm your mug (you could do this for the Hot Toddy too)

Add .5 oz. honey syrup (half honey and hot water)

Add 1 oz. of gin

Add 1 oz. of sweet vermouth

Add 1 oz. of Campari

Splash (.25 - .5 oz. of fresh squeezed orange juice (blood orange if you have them)

4 - 5 oz. of hot water

Orange wedge garnish (in the glass) 

Star anise (optional)
