Rick Sanchez discusses the importance of building and strengthening your value when striving to achieve personal and professional success.  The first step is not being afraid to fail.  You learn more from your failures than from your successes.  You must also understand the contrast between who you are now and whom you want to be in the future.  Effective communication skills are also very important.  Always try to be as concrete as possible when communicating.  Come down the ladder of abstraction and simplify your language.  Big words don’t impress people, big ideas and the ability to communicate them do.  Sanchez concludes that the keys to building your value come from three areas.  Your Brain, your heart, and your gut.  Because you have to know it, believe it, and feel it.
