In 2017, after Hurricane Maria, Mr. Trump practiced his basketball skills with paper towels as he threw them at Puerto Rican victims. And Trump announced his candidacy with “they’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists” when referring to Latinos who cross the border. Will there be a Latino or media backlash?
