Rick Sanchez welcomes comedian/actor George Lopez and they discuss the bumpy road experienced by both of them on their way to success.  Lopez confesses that his early career was a complete failure until he got focused and began taking a more serious approach to his comedy.  They move on to talk about a variety of topics including Lopez’s tough upbringing, his mother’s mental illness, and the fears that almost derailed his early career.  Lopez also tells the story about his big break with "The George Lopez Show" and how unprepared he was for the instantaneous success and money that came with it.  Sanchez makes the comparison between Lopez’s success and his own as a successful journalist and entrepreneur and concludes that it’s all about manifest destiny.  All you have to do is believe in what you feel, think, and see, and the rest will take care of itself with a lot of hard work.
