He’s covered many types from reporting from crime to celebrity deaths. He got his first internship at 12 years old! Jeff Rossen credits his work ethic to how he gained opportunity and grew his career. He says he wasn’t the smartest in class, but his work ethic and experience gave him the leg up he needed. As a side hustle to his main hustle of reporting, he began reporting information that was proactive to tragic events he say occurring frequently. AN example he gave is reporting how watering your Christmas tree will make it less likely to catch on fire. I’ve only recent gotten into social media and content creation, so Jeff Rossen and I discussed the future of media and production. Jeff discusses how main media needs to find their main audience by following the viewers. This is shown how streaming is more popular as is social media. They style of new reporting is also evolving. Instead of being more professional, people are looking for reporters and influencers that are more authentic and relatable. Jeff and I also discuss the different structure between social media content and TV production. Things such as text on the screen, jump cuts, etc. help hold the viewers attention on social media, but aren’t included in production. Jeff Rossen is coming to my Future Flipper Mastermind event! I asked him what he is hoping to learn at the event, and Jeff said that he finds flipping houses facilitating. While he loves what he does now, he loves to learn something new. He wants to learn this new skill and go try it out! Content creation, future of social media, how to develop content, content creation for beginners, viral TikToks, how to flip houses, learn to flip houses, professional baseball player, news anchor Jeff Rossen
