Derek signed up for his first 50 after running for only 9 months! David Goggin's book Can't Hurt Me, inspired him to do it. Unfortunately, his first race didn't go very well...But that hasn't stopped him! Derek is planning on running his redemption 50miler in just 3 weeks!
