On Today's show we are speaking to Cara Friedman; Social Media Manager at Publishers Clearing House. In this role, Cara guides the social media strategy for multiple PCH properties and manages a team of Social Media Coordinators. Formerly, Cara was Sr. Director, Marketing at Likeable Media. While at Likeable, Cara managed the internal marketing of the company. Previously as General Manager, she oversaw the managers of the company’s “buzz builder” program, a network of more than 100 interns that operated out of Likeable’s New York and Boston offices. Additionally, Cara’s role included being in charge of the operations department including human resources, finance, contracts and office management. Cara has been responsible for managing premium clients as well as creating custom trainings for corporate clients and their staffs. Some of her clients have included Logitech, Cosmopolitan, NYSDOH, Maidenform, and General Electric. Cara is a frequent blogger with featured posts on Mashable and Social Media Today, and has spoken at various events and conferences including BlogWorld and WOMM-U. Cara is a graduate with a JD from St. John's School of Law. She received her BA in Communications and an MA in Organizational Communications from the University at Albany.
