Lest We Forget Life's Passion - P.S. Rowland
Foreword
Lest we Forget Life’s Passion
is truly a treasure you’ll want to add to your collection of poetic works, and read over and over again. The author demonstrates great skill, allowing the reader to see how poetry can illuminate and stir desires of the heart and soul; beauty reflected in nature, and sensual intimacy. Her poems allow you to experience, pain, delight, joy, and love, with the ability to open your heart and mind, and be transformed. She touches on various aspects of human nature, introspection into the psyche, love, nature, and a form of Japanese Poetry -Haiku.
P.S. Rowland writes lovely, lifestyle poems that help sharpen reasoning skills, and formulate an interpretation of her work. I find great pleasure in her poetry, and have had the joy of conducting an online author interview with her. Her poems are epic, which is why I constantly dip in and out of them to use as they apply to my daily life. Like me, after you read the first poem you’ll crave more of her creations.

Introduction
All around us on a daily basis, we see and feel passion. It comes in many forms; nature, animals, observances of others, life experiences, our families, people who wander in and out of our lives, and souls that brush past us unexpectedly that touch us deeper than we ever thought possible. More often than not most people in our society are too busy to recognize, or take the moment needed to experience some of the most beautiful aspects of life. My hope is that my collection of poems will encourage you to see the passion all around you, experience the feelings trapped inside you, and inspire you to live life true to yourself.
HUMAN NATURE
Visionary
Tinting the page
no matter the stage
Write it down
happy or a frown
Outlets of emotion
no matter the potion
Therapeutic and healing
and oh so revealing
Innermost feelings
stories of other dealings
The light of your eye
or heartbreaking goodbyes
It’s your page to paint
no imposing constraints
So make it worthwhile
and compile your style.
Spirit
Jello in the bowl
is wobbly as the soul.
Shaken here, and there,
making trials hard to bear.
Grit is what we need,
