    About the Author

This book is dedicated to lesbians everywhere and their right to fall in love with other women without fear from recrimination and hate.

Queenie stirred from her slumber, and she found herself enveloped in the darkness of her bedroom. The soft moonlight filtering through the curtains cast a gentle glow, illuminating the figure of her partner, Julie, who lay peacefully beside her, lost in the depths of sleep.

Julie and Queenie had been together for three years now, ever since they met at a bar. At the time, Queenie was still working as a cop and Julie was drawn to her confident and strong demeanor. After striking up a conversation, they quickly realized that they had a strong connection and it wasn't long before they became intimate.

Their relationship grew day by day, and it didn't take long before they both knew that they were meant to be together. Despite their different backgrounds, Julie and Queenie complemented each other perfectly and their love only continued to deepen with each passing day. Their chance encounter at the bar had brought them together and they were grateful for the love and happiness they had found in each other.

Letting out a deep sigh, Queenie tried to settle back into the embrace of sleep, but a persistent sound disrupted the silence of the night. Julie's snores echoed softly, but incessantly, filling the room with their rhythmic cadence. Queenie shifted uncomfortably, trying to block out the noise, but it persisted, growing louder with each passing moment.

Unable to ignore it any longer, Queenie gently shook Julie's shoulder, hoping to rouse her from her slumber. Julie, please, she whispered, her voice tinged with exhaustion. Your snoring is keeping me awake.

Julie stirred, her eyes fluttering open as she mumbled incoherently. Huh? What's wrong? she murmured sleepily.

It's your snoring, Julie, Queenie explained softly. I can't sleep with all the noise.

Julie blinked groggily, her brows furrowed in confusion. Oh, sorry, she mumbled, her voice laced with drowsiness.

Sorry's not going to change anything. You're actually killing my ears with that snore of yours.

I said I'm sorry, alright? But you can't actually blame me. I  literally do not know what I do when I'm sleeping.

Queenie let out another sigh, her frustration mounting as she struggled to find solace in the darkness. It's okay, Julie, she replied, her tone resigned. Just try to sleep quietly, okay?

Julie nodded sleepily, her eyelids drooping as she settled back into the pillows. Okay, I'll try, she mumbled before drifting off once more.

Left alone with her thoughts, Queenie
