For a full minute, I couldn’t speak. All I could do was stare at the Moon Dragon. I had never seen such a creature before. I didn’t even know that it was possible for something like this to exist. Sure, I had heard of the Ender Dragon. On top of that, David had told me a few times of legends where dragons were everywhere in the Over World.
But to see a jewel encrusted dragon in front of me was not the secret I was thinking they would be hiding. Star was looking at me as if she was afraid I was going to faint or something.

Star tilted her head thoughtfully as she looked at the dragon, My people used to say there were tons of these jewel dragons. See, the Sun City used to be on top of an active volcano. This was a long, long time ago, of course. The legend states there was a greedy king who wanted more than just his wealth and jewels. He wanted power.
And?
He took all his wealth and went to the volcano and tossed the jewels into the lava. He had enchanted the jewels before he had tossed them in there. And so the magic hit the lava and it gave birth to these diamond dragons. Tons of jeweled dragons poured out of the volcano.
Star sat down on the steps leading towards the dragon, as if she was tired. I couldn’t blame her. I sat down next to her even though I really didn’t feel like getting close to that dragon.
"The dragons were powerful and threatened to overtake the
