The first step to finding personal peace is to recognize your value and dignity as a human being. This means that you are a unique, unrepeatable and important person who deserves respect, love and consideration, both from others and from yourself.
We often feel inferior, insecure or insufficient because we compare ourselves with others, because we allow ourselves to be influenced by the opinions of others, or because we demand too much of ourselves. These attitudes prevent us from appreciating our true essence and potential, and generate suffering, frustration and discontent.

Stop comparing yourself with others: Social comparison is a natural human tendency, which consists of evaluating our abilities, skills, or achievements, in relation to those of other people.
