#1 The most effective and enjoyable way to unlock the mysteries of the eros is to reminisce about your most compelling turn-ons. During these moments of high arousal, the crucial elements of your partner, the setting, and a tantalizing twist of luck all mesh like instruments of an orchestra, producing a crescendo of passion.
#2 I began encouraging clients who were struggling with sexual problems to explore their peak turn-ons, hoping the benefits of doing so would be obvious to them. However, many clients had trouble grasping the value of discussing their peak experiences.
#3 The idea of peak turn-ons is that you should look for the woman who is most excited by you, and not the one who is least bothered by your flaws. Fred learned that when he fantasized about a centerfold-like woman, the visual enjoyment of her perfect body was just a starting point.
#4 When it came to her depression, Sabrina said that she felt like nothing mattered anymore. She was lonely most of the time, and she didn’t know how to have fun anymore. She felt ugly, and she wasn’t sure if her husband loved her.

Summary of Jack Morin's The Erotic Mind - IRB Media
Insights from Chapter 1
#1
The most effective and enjoyable way to unlock the mysteries of the eros is to reminisce about your most compelling turn-ons. During these moments of high arousal, the crucial elements of your partner, the setting, and a tantalizing twist of luck all mesh like instruments of an orchestra, producing a crescendo of passion.
#2
I began encouraging clients who were struggling with sexual problems to explore their peak turn-ons, hoping the benefits of doing so would be obvious to them. However, many clients had trouble grasping the value of discussing their peak experiences.
#3
The idea of peak turn-ons is that you should look for the woman who is most excited by you, and not the one who is least bothered by your flaws. Fred learned that when he fantasized about a centerfold-like woman, the visual enjoyment of her perfect body was just a starting point.
#4
When it came to her depression, Sabrina said that she felt like nothing mattered anymore. She was lonely most of the time, and she didn’t know how to have fun anymore. She felt ugly, and she wasn’t sure if her husband loved her.
#5
Peak eroticism is similar to other peak experiences, but it is also different. While most peak experiences contain little to be embarrassed about, peak sex often strays far from our ideals. In the realm of eras, all the contradictions and paradoxes of the human drama are played out.
Insights from Chapter 2
#1
I created the Sexual Excitement Survey, which asks anonymous respondents to write in detail about especially arousing and memorable encounters and fantasies. I analyzed the content of their stories and comments and looked for recurring themes and patterns.
#2
I invited people to participate in a survey that asked them to describe their most intimate details. The SES is not a typical survey because of the depth of self-disclosure it requires. It consists of men and women ranging in age from 18 to 69, and they differ from the general population primarily in their willingness to write about such matters.
#3
The SES is a survey designed to help you reflect on your most memorable real-life encounters. It asks you to describe two specific encounters that were among the most arousing of your entire life, and then to explain what made them so exciting.
#4
The SES is a place where you can journal your memories, feelings, and impressions. This allows you to write about a host of topics that you might want to discuss with someone when the time is right.
#5
The SES asks you to think about your fantasies, which are images, thoughts, or feelings within your mind that are sexually interesting to you. Fantasies are a source of information about your sexuality. They may be triggered by something you see or hear, or they may just pop into your mind out of the blue.
#6
The SES asks you to focus on one favorite fantasy, but feel free to recall as many as you like. You may have a wide variety of fantasies, and the climax of your fantasy is intended to help you identify the specific details that intensify your excitement.
#7
The five chapters of Part I focus on the mysteries of the erotic mind. We will unravel them by focusing on peak erotic experiences. This is a different approach from the one most books about sex follow.
Insights from Chapter 3
#1
peak experiences are precious jewels. They are enlivened by memorability factors, which are the most identifiable aspects of an experience. These factors appear in The Group’s stories more frequently than any others.
#2
The first time you have a significant experience, you’re more likely to remember it because the characteristic of firstness stands out against the background of the familiar. Similarly, when your expectations and routines
