When Conner finally thinks that everything is over, everything goes wrong again. Conner now has a child and he talks a lot with Sharon again. Sharon even wants them to be together again, but what she doesn't know is that Conner is drinking again. After everything he has been through, he feels like he has no other choice, but he knows he has to fix it, no matter what.

 

One night, Chief Brown calls Conner and he tells him that a bank is being robbed. Conner immediately goes over there. He went into the bank, and he didn't find anyone. Conner was scared that he was losing his powers, but a few days later, another robbery took place. He caught the robber, and he chased her across the rooftops. Eventually, he took her mask off.

 

Conner was looking in amazement, he couldn't believe his eyes. The only thing that came out of his mouth was: "Britney?!" Is Britney still alive? Or is there something else going on?

Life is hard.

C onner, can you please take Stan to bed? I have to go to the store, Sharon said as she grabbed her keys.

Conner quickly came towards the living room and picked Stan up. I can't believe how big you are getting! Conner said, with a smile on his face. Stan also got a small smile on his face.

Sharon smiled. Alright then, I will see you guys soon. She grabbed her coat and walked out of the door.

Conner started playing with Stan. I can't believe that you are 1 year old already! Conner said.

Stan was just minding his own business, playing with a ball. Conner didn't have it easy this past year; he still had nightmares about what happened in New York. But he was really glad that all the superheroes were working together now. That would make it a lot easier for him, or so he thought. Sometimes he still drank, but he tried to drink as little as possible. But sometimes he just couldn't help it.

After an hour, Sharon walked into the room again. Conner, I want to talk to you, she said. C

onner was afraid that she knew that he was drinking again. If that was true, he probably would never get to see Stan again.

Because you've stopped drinking. I wanted to ask you something, Sharon said.

Conner felt ashamed, but he didn't want to give up Stan. He knew what it was like to not grow up with a father, and he didn't want that for him. Well, what do you want to know? Conner asked.

Sharon smiled, Do... do you want to be back with me again?

Conner couldn't believe what he heard. He didn't know how to react to this. Well... uhmm... Conner said.

Sharon quickly continued, When they are done building our house, we can live there, and we can have multiple kids if we want and...

Conner interrupted Sharon, Sharon, please.

Sharon got a sad look in her eyes. Don't you... don't you want to be together with me? Sharon asked while her tears started to roll down her face.

Conner quickly hugged her. No, that's not the reason. The only thing that I want is to be together with you.

Sharon looked a bit happier, and she asked, What is it, then?

Conner looked to the ground, knowin he couldn't tell her the truth. It's just... I... I don't think...

Sharon started to get more tears in her eyes again. It's just that after everything that happened there... I just want a new house, Conner said.

Sharon got excited now. She started hugging Conner and gave him kisses on his cheek. I would like that! Sharon said. Conner knew he lied to her. Now he had to sell his house and figure out how he could stop his drinking problem.

Do you want to live here, then? Sharon asked.

Conner quickly replied, No, I want to make sure that nobody breaks into our house. Sharon was really happy now.

Conner checked his phone and sighed. I have to go, he said, glancing up at Sharon. I need to check on the house.

Sharon nodded, understanding what he had to do. Alright, say bye to Stan, she reminded him.

Conner walked over to him and ruffled his hair. I'll be back in a few days, buddy, he said, leaning down to kiss him on the forehead.

Conner quickly walked down the street, angry at himself. He didn't need to check on the house, but he started to get a panic attack. He quickly went to his temporary house and grabbed a drink. Hey, why are you home already? Seth asked.

Uhmm... Stan was tired... he went to sleep, Conner lied. Seth walked into the kitchen and noticed Conner drinking. Are you drinking, again?! Seth asked angrily.

What do you care? Conner replied.

Conner, I want you to be happy. You know that if Sharon finds out, she won't let you see Stan again, Seth said.

That's why she won't find out, Conner said, his anger rising.

Seth looked confused. If you tell her that I'm drinking again, I swear to go... Conner threatened.

Seth interrupted him. You are going to do what? Hurt the guy that gives you a place to stay? Someone that tries to help you?

Conner took a deep breath and tried to calm down. He walked past Seth, who was looking at him with concern. I'm sorry, Conner said, his voice shaking. I'm just having a lot of panic attacks lately.

Seth nodded understandingly. It's okay, man. I get it. But you know that there is medication for that, right?

Conner looked down at his feet, feeling ashamed. I know, he said softly. But I hate the feeling I get from that. This works better for me.

Seth looked at him. I understand, but maybe it's time for you to seek help for your problem. Something like rehab.

Conner got an angry look on his face. No! I'm going to fix this by myself. I don't need anyone else.

He quickly walked upstairs and went to the room that Seth gave him. He laid down on his bed and started thinking about everything that had happened. He really wanted to fix his mistakes and bring Britney back, but he couldn't do anything about it.

When he walked upstairs, he carried a bottle of vodka with him. He kept drinking until he fell asleep, but he started to have nightmares again and began shaking in his sleep.

Come on, Conner! Kill that big monster! Emily said.

Conner ran into the big building and jumped through the window to tackle the monster. They both fell, but the monster grabbed Conner and threw him away. Conner lay on the ground with several broken bones. The monster walked towards him, laughing.

Please, don't kill me. I'm going to be a father, Conner begged.

The monster grabbed a car and yelled, Your child will be the next one that dies. The monster dropped the car on Conner.

Conner woke up and quickly checked if his heart was still beating. It was all just a dream, he thought to himself.

In the present, Ricardo was woken up by someone opening his door. Who is there?! he asked angrily.

The General smiled and said, I need your help with something.

Ricardo gave the General a confused look as he entered his cell. Nobody dares to enter this cell. You must be crazy to walk in here, he said.

The General smiled and replied, Ricardo, please, I have studied you. I've heard what you've told Conner Wilson. You don't want to hurt anyone.

Ricardo looked at him angrily. But I need your help with something, and in exchange, I might be able to give you something you want, the General continued.

What?! Ricardo exclaimed, both angry and confused. You guys already have the Ultimate Soldier, so you don't need me, he added.

The General explained, Well, it's not that easy. The creator of the Ultimate Soldier serum was killed. The Ultimate Soldiers are not going to give us their blood because they quit working for the army, and nobody else can replicate the serum.

Ricardo asked, He was killed? Why?

The General replied, The General killed him after he made the last serum, or at least, that is what Emily Davis told everyone.

Ricardo started thinking about it. The General smiled and asked, Are you in?

Well, if you guys get these powers, you are almost unstoppable, right? Ricardo asked.

Exactly, nobody can win from us. Every war, we would win! The General said with a smile on his face. Ricardo couldn't help but feel uneasy at the thought of these men having such immense power. He knew that it could lead to disastrous consequences.

That's why I'm not going to do it, Ricardo said, his voice firm. The General's smile vanished, and he asked, What? 

Ricardo took a deep breath before continuing. If I make this for you guys, I can't guarantee it's safe, not just for you guys, but also for the people in different countries. I mean, it's like you said, you can win every war, including wars that you may start.

The General put on his brass knuckles and punched Ricardo in the face. The iron knuckles hurt Ricardo a little, but he remained firm in his decision.

You are going to make that serum! If you don't, I will torture you until you do it! The General said after he hit Ricardo again.

Ricardo knew he could easily kill the General, but he wanted to be better than that. I'm not going to do it! Ricardo said angrily.

The General's face twisted with anger as he barked out his orders. Walk! Now! Ricardo obediently shuffled out of his cell and towards the lab, the
