About this ebook

Important: This book is the 4th book in our Superhero Universe!

Emily Davis was a soldier from San Francisco. She had always wanted to serve her country and make a difference in the world. However, things were not going as planned. Emily was constantly bullied in the army, and because of that, she hated her life. She was not the strongest soldier, and she often felt like a burden to her team.

One day, Emily was teamed up with Harry, one of the best soldiers in the army. They were a team against the other teams, but unfortunately, they lost because of Emily's weakness. Harry was disappointed, but he remained calm after losing. Even though Harry couldn't stand Emily at first, they quickly became friends.

Thanks to Harry, many of Emily's problems were gone. But when Harry's mother got sick, he had to leave for a long time, leaving Emily alone. Emily was bullied again, and she fell into a very bad mental state. She started using things that weren't exactly legal, just to numb the pain.

One night, when she took that illegal substance, something strange happened. Emily became the Ultimate Soldier. Her father had mixed something with the illegal substance because he trusted Emily to become the Ultimate Soldier.

In another universe, a king named "Ivar" wanted to attack his brother's kingdom. He spent years working on an army, and he was finally ready to take the kingdom. In the battle of King Ivar, he and his soldiers were running, but a portal appeared out of nowhere, and they ran straight through it. They came out in San Francisco.

They thought this was magic from the other kingdom, so they destroyed the streets of San Francisco by destroying shops and looting everything they could find.

Emily was put on a mission to take them out as soon as possible and make the streets of San Francisco safe again. However, Emily underestimated the soldiers.

Emily, Emily! Get up, we don't have much time, Harry said urgently. Emily was lying unconscious on the ground, and she heard a soft squeak in her ear. She was in a lot of pain and had no idea what had happened to her.

    What happened? Emily asked, confused.

Huh, you don't remember what happened, you were hit by them, Harry replied.

Emily still didn't know what happened. Harry helped Emily get up and said, But wait, who hit me?

    Look around you! Harry exclaimed.

Emily grabbed Harry tightly while standing up. She looked around and saw the army fighting. Further on, she saw grenades being thrown and missiles being fired. Then Emily remembered - they were fighting another army, an army they had never seen before. They had weapons with special powers that they couldn't imagine.

Harry saw that Emily was looking around with her eyes wide open. He saw a wound on her leg, and a lot of blood was coming out of it. Harry quickly took a white cloth from his backpack and wrapped it tightly around her leg.

Ouch, ouch! Slowly, it hurts a lot, Emily said to Harry.

You don't have any choice. For now, it hurts, but we really have to keep going, Harry replied.

Harry took Emily's arm and put it around his neck. He helped her walk, and they saw a building where they could hide from the army. When they reached the building, Harry kicked the door a few times with his foot. The door flew open, and they went inside the building to hide.

Come on, sit on this, Harry said as he pulled out a chair for Emily.

Emily sat down on the chair and was still in a lot of pain. She saw that the white cloth around her leg was completely red from all the blood she was losing. Harry started walking around the house, and he was stressed. He quickly took the walkie-talkie from his backpack and wanted to call the general.

Harry? What are you doing? Emily asked.

I am connecting with the General. We need backup or we will not survive it, Harry replied.

Backup? You are going to put that down now. We don't need backup, Emily said, confused.

What do you mean? Harry asked in anger. Look at your leg. Do you really think you can still walk?

Emily looked at Harry angrily and did not want him to talk to the General. If the General knew that Emily and Harry had done something other than what was planned, the General would be furious.

We're going to do this! Now put that walkie-talkie down, Emily said firmly.

Harry looked deeply into Emily's eyes and slowly nodded no. He turned on the walkie-talkie and started talking. General, it's Johnson speaking, over.

Harry received no response and tried again, General, can you hear me?

Emily got up from her chair and slowly walked over to Harry. Turn it off before it's too late, Emily said.

Harry continued to look at Emily emotionally and tried again, General! Can you hear me, over!

On the third time, Harry finally received a reply, Johnson, I can hear you. Is there a problem?

Harry was shocked that he got an answer. He turned his back to Emily and put his other hand over his other ear. Sir, we don't have much time, but we need backup! We are about 700 feet west. We are hiding in a small building and...

Emily immediately jumped on Harry's back and took the walkie-talkie from him. She immediately turned the walkie-talkie off and started shouting at Harry, Do you have any idea what you've done now?!

Harry had a slight panic in his voice, I know exactly what I have done. You are injured, and we are surrounded here, so there isn't much of a choice!

No, we are not! Emily furiously said. We are going to do this as always. Now that the General knows that we have broken his plan, the consequences are even higher.

Harry suddenly heard something strange and turned around to listen carefully to what he heard. Emily wasn't finished talking and was continuing to brag about the consequences that would now happen.

Harry immediately put his hand over Emily's mouth and told her to be quiet. Do you hear that? Harry whispered.

Emily began to listen carefully to what Harry meant. They heard a small group of people talking from a distance. Harry and Emily looked at each other with wide eyes open. They knew that group was not on their side.

She heard the small group of people talking in a language they had never heard before. They knew right away that it was not their army. Harry stood up and opened the window he saw next to him. Harry then pulled Emily up and said, You have to start walking now. Climb over to that window and go to that house up there. I'll see you there then.

Emily was confused and asked, Huh, but what about you? What are you going to do?

Harry turned to the door where the small group could come in. They heard the small group come closer and closer. Harry knew they could only come in through the front door. I'm going to stop them while you run to the other house, Harry answered Emily as he looked at the front door.

Emily was against his idea, No, I'll stay here with you.

Harry turned quickly to Emily and said, No, we don't have time for that. Now climb over that window and run to that house. I'll see you there.

Do you promise me that? Emily asked.

Harry looked into Emily's eyes and nodded yes. He turned around and held his weapon tightly. With difficulty, Emily climbed through the window and started running to the other house. Because she had a lot of pain in her leg, she had difficulty running.

While running, Emily heard weapons going off. She knew it was Harry who was firing with his weapon. She wanted to go back and help Harry, but she didn't. She came into the house that Harry told her to go to and she hid inside.

She was worried about Harry. She just hoped he survived. Minutes later, she heard the door open. She got a smile; she was sure that it was Harry who came into the house. Emily got up and was struggling to get to the front door.

When she was at the front door, her smile quickly disappeared. Huh? What are you doing here? Emily confusedly asked while she looked at the person that walked in.

    Chapter 2

    Leftovers

A few months earlier, Emma stood at Xyreon's funeral, her eyes fixed on the empty coffin. She couldn't believe that he was gone. Xyreon had been accused of a heinous crime - the murder of innocent people - but Emma knew that he himself was not capable of something so terrible. It was Liveos who took control over his body.

She remembered the first time they had met, chatting for hours on social media. They had so much in common and always shared the same opinions. Xyreon had been a good guy, always honest and trustworthy. But then everything changed.

The news reports had shown the devastation caused by the attacks, with families torn apart and the city in ruins. Xyreon was blamed for the tragedy, accused of being the one responsible for the deaths of innocent people. But Emma knew the full story, and she believed in Xyreon's innocence.

She knew that he had been controlled by someone else, that he had not wanted to hurt anyone. It had been a terrible situation, and Xyreon had been dying inside as he watched the horror unfold. Yet everyone saw him as a murderer, and no one wanted to hear the truth.

As Emma spoke about Xyreon's true character, she saw that there were a few people who were genuinely sad about his passing. But it still hurt her to see that almost no one saw Xyreon the way she did.

Emily, who had once met Xyreon, was now at his funeral in a black dress. She had even been saved by him. She could relate to Emma's pain and understood the depth of her sadness.

As the funeral came to an end, people started to go home. Emily stayed, standing alone in front of Xyreon's grave. She felt a deep sense of loss and could not believe that he was gone. She wondered if there was anything she could have done to prevent this tragedy from happening.

Meanwhile, Emma walked away on her own, her heart heavy with grief. She felt like no one truly understood Xyreon, and it hurt her to see him being remembered as a murderer. She wanted the world to know the truth about him, and she vowed to keep his memory alive.

In the end, Xyreon's body was never found, but he was still given a funeral. The truth about what had happened that day might never be known, but some people who had known Xyreon would always remember him as a good guy, a friend, and someone who had been tragically misunderstood.

The next day, Emily had traveled back to San Francisco and walked towards the field, tired and emotionally drained. She stood next to Bob, who was trying to make conversation with her, but Emily was not in the mood for his teasing. She stood at attention and waited for the General to arrive.

As the General arrived, he gave a speech about the importance of their mission and the sacrifices they had to make for their country. Emily tried to focus on his words, but her mind kept wandering to Xyreon. She wondered if he had any family or friends who mourned his death.

The General finished his speech, and they were dismissed for training. Emily tried to focus on the drills, but her mind was elsewhere. She couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt that she felt for Xyreon's death. She wondered if there was anything more she could have done to save him.

After training, Emily went back to her barracks. She sat on her bed and pulled out a picture of Xyreon that she kept in her backpack. She looked at the picture and remembered the day they met. He had saved her life, and she was forever grateful to him.

A few weeks later, Emily woke up with a renewed sense of purpose. She went to training with a clear mind and a determined attitude.

The General stood at the front of the room, addressing the soldiers under his command. She outlined the day's plan: a morning of fitness training, followed by targeted shooting practice in the afternoon. Emily listened intently, mentally preparing herself for the day ahead.

As soon as the briefing was finished, the soldiers began their target shooting practice. The General split them into pairs and tasked them with completing the Shooting Range Parkour as quickly as possible. The group, with the fastest time, would receive a reward.

Emily was paired with Harry, one of the best soldiers at the base. Although nervous about working with him, she knew he was fast and skilled at
