<< The scene shifts (Chicago 2023, St2x12). As the alarm rings, Richard rouses himself from slumber and proceeds to deactivate it. Despite feeling somewhat drowsy, he ambles towards the front door of his apartment, retrieves the newspaper, and shuts the door behind him. Subsequently, he makes his way to the bathroom to freshen up for the day ahead. Richard perused the headlines of the newspaper before him, taking note of the stock market's upward trend, which boded well for the state of the economy. He also observed with interest the nuptials of two prominent celebrities and contemplated the significance of such news in popular culture. In addition, he came across an article discussing the introduction of new weaponry as a potential solution for achieving peace. These and other headlines filled the pages of the publication, offering a glimpse into the current state of the world. After completing his daily routine of walking and exercising his dog, Richard returns to his apartment where he takes a refreshing shower and prepares breakfast for himself and his furry companion. As he works in a prestigious investment firm, he dresses in a sharp suit, exuding confidence as he anticipates a long-awaited promotion, which he has been striving towards for the past three years.

After affectionately bidding farewell to his dog and activating the apartment's robotic assistant to tend to his home, Richard orders a cab and makes his way to the towering building where he works. Upon arrival, he pays the driver and strides through the bustling lobby towards his desk. As he settles in, his co-worker Simon approaches, delivering a sizable stack of documents to Richard's workspace. >>

Richard: What the hell is this, Simon?

Simon: These are the best investment opportunities for the future, Richard.

Richard: I've told you countless times that most of these projects are a waste of time. You need to stop letting your emotions cloud your judgment.

Simon: Please, just hear me out this time. I've researched these projects extensively, and I'm convinced they'll be in the Fortune 500.

Richard: I highly doubt that. How many did you evaluate?

Simon: I started with 100, and I've narrowed it down to the top 75.

Richard: What? You just removed 25.

Simon: Richard, trust me. These young entrepreneurs have some ground breaking ideas that are worth investing in. We could make billions of dollars from them.

Richard: Your job is to make my job easier, not make it more difficult. But fine, I'll take a look at these projects myself.

<< Following Simon's departure, Richard settles into his work, perusing the papers before him while savouring a cup of coffee. >>

<< The scene shifts (San Francisco 1983, St34e2). Two police officers, Robbin and Finn, are patrolling the streets during the day. Suddenly, Robbin hears a car approaching at high speed from behind. Finn catches sight of the car in the rear-view mirror and recognizes it as belonging to the local gangster, Carlo. >>

Finn (turns to Robbin and says): Hey man, slow it down a bit.

Robbin: Why the fuck would I do that?

Finn: Just look behind us, that son of a bitch is coming.

<< Despite Finn's warning, Robbin continues to speed up, indifferent to the potential danger. Finn grows increasingly nervous as they race down the road. >>

Finn (implores): What the hell are you doing, man? Just give him some room.

Robbin (responds with frustration): He's a fucking criminal, we all know that. People like him should be in prison, if not dead.

Finn (shakes his head and says): Tell that to the chief.

<< Suddenly, Carlo's car overtakes and blocks the path, bringing Robbin's car to a stop. >>

Finn (exclaims): Holy shit, I told you!

<< Carlo steps out of his car with a revolver in hand, accompanied by two other men. Robbin and Finn also exit their vehicle. >>

Carlo: You both think you can mess with your boss, huh?

Robbin (responds casually): What's the trouble?

<< In a sudden and alarming gesture, Carlo aims his revolver at Robbin's head. >>

Finn (interjects with an earnest plea): Mr. Carlo, please consider that he is a new recruit and was unaware that the car belonged to you. He had no intention of exceeding the speed limit.

Carlo (responds with a hint of leniency): Well, today is your lucky day, Finn. I'm on my way to see my girl and not in the mood for trouble. Nevertheless, your recruit will certainly receive a lesson in accountability.

<< After Carlo departs in his vehicle, Robbin and Finn hear a report on the radio regarding an accident that occurred just two miles from their current location. Reacting without hesitation, they rush to the scene to render assistance. Upon their arrival, they are met with a devastating sight - a car lies overturned, its occupants in the front seats having tragically perished. The truck driver who alerted the authorities to the incident stands a short distance away. >>

Robbin (examines the car): Does it look like an accident?

Finn: Well, it did rain last night. Perhaps the car slipped, and they lost control.

Robbin: Yes, that could be a possibility.

<< Robbin then inspects the tires more closely and discovers shotgun bullet marks on one of them. >>

Robbin (realizes something): Wait a second, I don't think this was an accident. Let's hear what the truck driver has to say.

<< They approach the truckdriver. >>

Finn (asks the truck driver): Okay, sir, can you tell us exactly what you saw?

Truckdriver: When I arrived, the accident had already occurred. The car was flipped over, and unfortunately, the drivers had already passed away.

Robbin: Did you notice anything else?

Truckdriver: It was a little strange, but I did see another car ahead of this one. The driver didn't stop to help them.

Robbin: That could be the car that caused the accident. Do you happen to remember the license plate number?

<< The truck driver did recall the license plate number, and Robbin and Finn relayed the information to their base station to retrieve details about the driver.

Later that evening, after finishing work, Robbin gets into his car when some of Carlo's men approach him. Robbin exits the vehicle to speak with them but is then violently attacked. Despite the beating, Robbin manages to get back into his car and spends the night inside it. >>

<< The scene shifts (San Sebastian 2014, Str3ee) where several cars are gathering inside an old airplane hangar for a daylight street race. Marcus, a skilled racer, arrives at the hangar on his motorbike. As he enters, Jimmy, Marcus's handler, approaches him. >>

Jimmy: Today, I have some great news for you, Marcus. I have brought the top-of-the-line racing equipment that you have been eagerly anticipating, with a larger price tag to match.

Marcus: How much are we talking about?

Jimmy: It's priced at 90K.

Marcus: Is that all?

Jimmy (with a little shock): And what else do you want, a shiny trophy?

<< Victoria one of the racer’s cheerleaders listening to this approaches Marcus. >>

Victoria: How about taking me as your trophy if you win?

Marcus: Alright then.

Jimmy (chimed in, saying): Now that's what I'm talking about. So, which babe do you want to race with?

<< As Marcus sets his sights on a striking red Porsche, he deliberates on seizing the opportunity to claim it as his own. However, his plan is soon interrupted by the presence of Mandy, another skilled racer who approaches the scene. >>

Mandy: That's a stunning car. I have a feeling it'll come in second place.

Marcus: Thank you, but I plan on taking it all the way to the finish line.

Mandy (pointing to a silver Mercedes): That car over there is going to win this race, no question.

Marcus: I understand your confidence, but it's important to stay grounded in reality.

Mandy: Don't lecture me, Marcus. I've heard about your victories in those small-scale competitions in your village town. But this is a whole different ball game. Today, you'll find out who the real champion is.

Mr. Lawrence (interjects): Excuse me, gentlemen. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation. While I appreciate the passion, let's not forget that the stakes are high in this race.

Mr. Lawrence: Marcus, you still owe me a considerable sum of money.

Marcus: I'll have your money by the end of the week.

Mandy: Looks like you're already in debt, Marcus. Good luck trying to beat me.

Mr. Lawrence (clears his throat and interjects): Why don't you both settle this conversation where it truly matters - on the track?

Marcus: I couldn't agree more.

Mandy: Bring it on, Marcus. Let's see if you can put your money where your mouth is.

<< With tensions high, the two racers make their way to their respective cars, preparing to face off in a high-stakes race.

As the sun begins to set, the racers and spectators gather at the track for the highly anticipated circuit race up to the top of the mountain and back. Even the gamblers watching online are eagerly awaiting the results, with a total betting money of 720K that has Mr. Lawrence excited.

But this race won't be an easy one. With blind corners and local traffic adding to the difficulty, Mr. Lawrence has already paid off the local cops to ensure they won't interfere. Smoke billows from the starting line as the engines roar to life, signalling the start of the race.

Mandy and Marcus quickly take the lead, racing neck and neck with other competitors closely behind. Overtaking proves to be a challenge with oncoming cars and trucks adding to the danger. In a desperate move, Mandy uses a dirty trick, hitting Marcus's Porsche and causing him to fall behind.

Undeterred, Marcus pushes himself to the limit, navigating the treacherous corners with precision. Suddenly, a truck appears in his path, but with quick reflexes, Marcus narrowly avoids a head-on collision, drifting to the edge and overtaking Mandy.

As Marcus speeds toward the finish line, Mandy becomes increasingly desperate and attempts to hit his car again. But Marcus is ready this time and skilfully manoeuvres his car in reverse, causing Mandy to crash into the rocks and lose the race.

With the victory secured, Marcus instructs Jimmy to collect the cash while he takes Victoria for a spin in his red Porsche. Mr. Lawrence grows nervous about the expensive car, but Jimmy assures him that everything will be fine. As the race concludes, the excitement and thrill of the competition linger, leaving everyone breathless and eager for the next challenge. >>

<< Scene changes (Seoul 2017, St63ed) Hana is preparing for her upcoming final match at the country's mixed martial arts tournament against the current champion, Hajun, scheduled for the following day. As she diligently practices her strikes on the punching bag suspended from the ceiling, her sensei arrives with a serving of herbal tea. >>

Sensei: It's time for you to rest now, Hana. You have been training since morning.

Hana: I'm fine, master.

Sensei: While anger can certainly be powerful, it's important to settle your mind and focus on achieving inner peace in order to truly excel. You must learn to control your emotions and channel them in a positive way.

Hana: But it was anger that got me to the finals, Sensei. I believe it works better than peace.

<< After Sensei's departure from the room, Hana continues with her training, refusing to rest. However, she soon begins to feel the effects of exhaustion, causing dizziness and forcing her to sit on the floor. Her gaze falls upon the
