As the author of Uncomplicating the Complicated World of Grandparenting, I am thrilled to share with you the inspiration behind this heartwarming book. At 62 years old, I am a proud grandfather to three wonderful grandchildren. It seemed like not so long ago, my wife and I were going through the challenging experiences of raising our three children (Joseph, Nuel and Joui) and just as believed we were getting the hang of it (that life of raising children), we found ourselves transported to another challenging and more complicated world—that of being grandparents. Yes, we found extreme joy in raising our children. But we were not expecting to experience a more surreal kind of joy in having grandchildren!
