The Rantings of a Delusional Mind: Words Spoken in the Dark
()
About this ebook
"When asked how long these feelings will last, My answer as always is Soon this too shall pass... So focus on a better tomorrow, try not to dwell on the now, Remember the wind always blows but the mountain never bows!" (words from the poem "This Too Shall Pass").
Never have words had such a bigger impact on one's life than that statement. Those words--spoken in the depth of night, hidden behind closed doors, alone in complete darkness, under the guise of secrecy and silence--brought purpose with a passion and changed the course and path of this writer. Inspired by the works of Edgar Allen Poe and the thoughts that were written when he put pen to paper, it lit a spark and started a fire inside the heart and mind of a soul trapped in the solitude of his own despair, enslaved by the opinions of others that yearned only to be free.
Within these pages lie the voice of the voiceless uncensored in rhyme written in the dark brought to light...

Pen to Paper
I’m always writing; I’m always rhyming,
And when it comes to sharing, it’s all about the timing.
My pain is beautiful; you can say it’s a trait.
It hurts, I hide; it hopes, I hate.
And when it comes to depression, I’m just not a fan,
But when it comes to being genuine, you can’t find a better man.
And when comes to feelings, I know mine can seem tragic,
But the way I express them, well you can just call that magic.
The Path
I could write another poem, let it swallow me whole,
Tear out my heart, and defile my soul.
I could be taken at any moment; I know that much is true.
I don’t wanna go where the words will take me too.
It breaks my spirit, each letter of the words I use.
I’m lost in this moment; I know not which path to choose—
To sleep in sweet surrender or to write a wicked rhyme,
Uncertain and assured that now is so not the time.
To bare my soul and put my feelings on
