About this ebook

A statue excavated from an Amazon rainforest has been brought to a conference in California, dozens of archeologists -- including Rebecca, a slender attendee with no interest in sex or kids. A magical burst of energy comes off the statue, befuddling and alarming everyone there. Especially when they all become dumber, sexier, animalistic, and begin to fuck like rabbits.

Rebecca swung her black purse down to her ankle, plopping into the hard plastic chair as she did. She bent low to fish in it for a pen, and came up a moment later with a blue plastic Bic, fiddling with it for a moment to make sure the tip wasn’t dry.

She craned her neck in the large conference room in a quick scan. There were about fifty or so people total, men and women alike, shifting in the uncomfortable plastic chairs. It wasn’t a glitzy affair, this conference – just a gathering of archeologists and historians into one place to stimulate collaboration. Such as Rebecca.

Rebecca was twenty nine years old, with auburn hair she made sure to put in curls each morning and a heart-shaped face. She did light makeup each day, just enough to cover blemishes and pores, but wasn’t girly enough to waste time on blush and eyeshadow. She was cute, and in fairly good shape, but had no curves or definition to speak of. Going through school, digging in foreign countries in awful weather, then flying home to beg for funding to repeat the process hadn’t left her much time to learn how to be super femme.

She dabbed the pen on her tongue, then scribbled on her notepad. Blue ink finally appeared under the metal tip.

There, she thought, and scribbled at the top, Relic of the amazon.

She felt people sitting in the chairs around her, but paid it no mind until the one to her immediate left squeaked. Rebecca glanced over – it was a man, a little younger than her, with brown hair and a clean shaven face. Green eyes were behind thick black rimmed glasses, glancing up at the stage then back to her.

Hi, he said, nodding at her.

Hi, she replied, with a pleasant smile.

There was a beat as he fished into his backpack a moment, then brought out an electronic tablet. Excited for the exhibit?

Oh yes, Rebecca said. I heard they had a big find in Brazil, but they’ve been surprisingly silent about what it is.

He gestured at her with his tablet, which was booting up a notes program. Your major in Brazil?

    No, actually, she said. Egyptology.

No shit? he asked, and a smile grew on his face. Mine too! I just came to this one because I wanted to hear about the big find.

Rebecca laughed. Same, actually! I’m not an expert in Brazil but they might need some assistants. I’m kind of in need of work right now.

Oh, see, the man gestured to himself. I’ve got a project I’m working on already just south of Luxor, but I’m too curious about the Amazon find.

Curious, she pivoted a little to face him. Luxor, huh? she asked. "What did you say your name was?
