About this ebook

Gail Thomas and Jean Castelow, a daughter and her mama, completed this book using nature photographs taken at or near their home near beautiful Lake Seminole, near Donalsonville, Georgia. We dedicate this book to all storm victims in Seminole County, Ga. Also, our surrounding counties, Mexico Beach and Panama City, Florida. We hope you know that God sent his son, Jesus, to die for us and resurrected him to sit at his right side and take us to Heaven when we die if we will accept him as our Savior and give our lives to him. His Holy Spirit can guide us and help us each day on our earthly journey. People can see Jesus in our hearts on earth, and we can pray for healing and comfort anytime and receive his strength and power. Gail and her mama love Jesus, which is reflected in the poetry book. The Bible speaks of angels as messengers who are sent by God to help us at times in our lives. Our prayer is that you will be encouraged, healed, and inspired by this book, and always comforted, knowing God's angels are with your every day. Love and Prayers,

    Introduction

In 1998, I began my journey of inspiration, healing and comfort. God sent messages to my soul, and this collection of angel poetry was inspired to help turn the world toward spiritual things.

People everywhere seem to be searching for spiritual guidance and direction for their lives. This world has been overcome with stressful situations and painful events. People are hurting every day.

As we live in this imperfect world, God will help us through our difficult times. His angels are standing by to guide us through our deepest troubles.

In 1985, my world shattered when my baby daughter died at birth. My family was devastated beyond words. I suffered through pain, grief and depression, and I felt that my life was over. My marriage sadly ended three years later, and I became a single mother. I had taught kindergarten for many years in Thomasville, Georgia. In 1994, my son and I moved to Cairo, Georgia, where I began a new job working with families of Pre-K students.

In September 1994, I was driving home after dropping my son off at a friend’s home to spend the night. I decided to take a shortcut on an unfamiliar road to avoid traffic. Suddenly, out of the darkness, I heard a loud crash and felt my car being lifted up. My car had been hit by a train and was hurled thirty feet backwards in the air.

My head jerked forward and hit the windshield. Fear and panic gripped me as I looked at the wreckage around me. I was bruised, shaken, and feeling pain and discomfort, but I was alive by the grace of God and his angels.
