Quiet Moments: Mornings with the Holy Spirit

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I share the messages, poems, and not-so-random thoughts given to me by the Holy Spirit and in which I have incorporated my photography. I have enjoyed capturing God's beauty through my lens since I was a child. I began my journey to learn how to be still and listen to God after a life-changing year that included multiple broken bones, a tragic car accident that took the life of my sister, multiple surgeries, physical therapy, and the loss of both parents only six days apart. But God spared my life and gave me a new perspective. I realized He is in control, and I needed to start paying attention. He began to show me images and give me messages through the Holy Spirit. I hope you enjoy these Spirit-led messages and poems as much as I enjoyed receiving them. It is my prayer for each person to find comfort, peace, and joy within these pages. The living waters of the Holy Spirit pour into us and overflows, so we can pour into the lives of others. May you find grace and love for yourself and others.

Ihumbly thank the Holy Spirit for guidance and direction on this project. The messages would not be possible if it weren’t for the gifts of the Spirit, my savior, Jesus Christ, and my Heavenly Father.

Introduction

It is with great excitement and gratitude that I share the messages, poems, and not-so-random thoughts given to me by the Holy Spirit.

When I began my journey to learn how to be still and listen to God, He began to show me images. For example, one morning, I was being still, listening to Him, when, in my mind, I saw myself surrounded by a beautiful field of wildflowers. I also receive messages that could only come from Him. I pray for discernment and ask for Him to clear my own thoughts and help me test the Spirits. I keep a journal to keep up with everything and soon filled up the pages of several books.

Realizing these messages are not just for me but are to be shared with others, I felt the urge to start a blog. In May of 2018, I was finally able to get that up on my photography website and sign up a few people to receive my posts each week. At the time, I was also working on my first book called Beyond Yourself, A Spiritual Awakening.

Thinking at some point that I may publish that book, I had no idea at the time He was giving me the content for this book too. I saw the cover, the title, and the outline and began getting this one together. (Messages I received from the Holy Spirit are in italics.)

I hope you enjoy these Spirit-led messages and poems as much as I enjoyed receiving them. It is my prayer for each person to find comfort, peace, and joy within these pages. The living waters of the Holy Spirit pour into us and overflows, so we can pour into the lives of others. May you find grace and love for yourself and others.

The Love Letter

In God I found my true identity. He shares with me things that are not of this earth, and He writes me love letters. He gave me flowers. He made me whole and mended my brokenness. He sealed my heart with His promises. He is jealous for me. I am His forever.

I am still learning. The Spirit gives me messages and lessons every day. Some are for my personal journey and some are to share with others. As I come to Him with a surrendered heart in humility, He uses flowers, animals, and birds of all kinds to send me messages.

This is the first of many writings (love letters) the Spirit gave me.

What blessings I have in store for you my child. Go in peace knowing you are loved and capable of loving others. You will touch others in a remarkable way, changing their lives forever. Show them love, kindness, mercy and forgiveness as I have shown you. My love for you is everlasting. Your past is behind you. Only look forward to how you can make a difference in this world. Never look back. You are my child now and forever. That is all that matters. I have saved your life and it has brought you to this day. You came through the fire to get here but the main thing to know now is that you are here with Me in this moment to walk with me through the gates of heaven one day to an unimaginable beauty that you can’t understand right now. Just know that it is waiting for you someday. It is not important when, only that it is there for you when you need it most. Then you will live with Me forever and ever until the end of all time. Its beauty will amaze
