About this ebook

I believe the primary purpose for God's Word is to assist us in living according to His will. It is everyday living alongside God. Although we are ordinary people, we can still have extraordinary life experiences when we partner with Him. We were given a perfect example. He showed us the way. Jesus preached the message of the kingdom of God. The kingdom is open to us while we are still living, like it was for Jesus.

We don't have to be perfect, we just have to follow a perfect God.

    Heaven

And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

    —Revelation 4:2

God is there sitting on His throne, never leaving. He orchestrates heaven and earth from His throne. It reminds me of how a maestro stands in his place, cues and directs every musician in playing their part to create a melodic symphony. Each doing their best to please the maestro and receiving his approval.

Such is the scene in heaven, a multitude of angels from every nation, elders, and four representatives. They are worshipping Him day and night.

Jesus is there. He’s at the right hand of God doing all things according to the will of God. He alone is allowed to execute God’s plan book. Jesus moves effortlessly throughout heaven with free rein. Jesus now dispatching angels and as they are at their stations guiding and supervising them at their post.

Angels are looking down into matters, keeping an eye on those assigned to them. Angels in heaven interject, according to God’s will, themselves into situations and the lives of people. Leaving heaven only for specific assignments. An assignment to crush monstrous entities and events that get out of control. They go back and forth from heaven and earth—only to return to a place of love, no need for sleep—just a place of peace. Oh, the joy of knowing you’ll be returning to heaven.

Until one day, Christ tells you the next time you are sent to earth, you’ll have to stay awhile. You are not happy, more or less bewildered. I imagine that is how a baby feels when leaving the comforting womb of its mother. What’s going on? When will I come home? How long? Separated. How painful and disappointing. Who do you know that would want to leave a place of safety, love, purpose and of peace? Not me. I have this long-term memory. I can’t get it out of my mind. Revelation 19:6

    Love

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

    —Jeremiah 31:3

Ihave felt loved by my heavenly Father all of my life. He loves with a tenderness that is unparalleled. Only my mother’s love has come close. It is a love that is unconditional. He first gave it freely. I don’t know why, and I don’t care why. I just know I am so grateful for such a love. My difficulty with love comes when I expect love from people to be the same. I must confess I have been very naive in this area. I thought I would simply be loved by everyone because I love them.

I have unconditional love for God. No matter what happens to me, I love God. I believe He kept His word when He said He would write it on our hearts. I guess it ended up in my DNA.
