Elements of Life a Collection of Poetry
()
About this ebook
The Elements of Life are Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Love.
Earth represents hope and happiness in our lives.
Air represents the randomness of life which is as unpredictable as particles blowing in
the wind.
Fire represents the burning of anger or negativity in life.
Water represents the tears of sadness that we all shed.
The ultimate element of the five, Love, represents the
passion and desire of our hearts.
The
theme of this book was inspired by the authors favorite movie, The Fifth
Element directed by Luc Besson.

Chapter 1
Earth
Liberation
I want my liberation!
It’s time for a transformation.
You don’t really need an explanation.
But I’m here for some communication.
I’ve found my true salvation.
You will no longer give me frustration.
I know my final destination.
I will no longer be under your discrimination.
It’s time for a transformation.
I am filled with the greatest determination.
I have found my own inspiration.
I will build a new stronger foundation.
You Are My Inspiration
You are my inspiration.
You are my preparation.
You inspire in me creation.
You are my inspiration.
You are my artistic motivation.
You inspire my celebration.
You are my inspiration.
You guide me in my navigation.
Your energy is my destination.
We’ll Smile Once More
You’re feeling down and it’s because I’m not around.
I begin to feel the same.
There really is no one to blame.
I feel just like you, lost and confused.
Sometimes even I don’t understand.
How can hearts get so beaten and abused?
There are times in life, we never planned.
I wish you’d realize I’m not the cause of your pain.
You need to listen to me and I’ll try to explain.
I would help you and assist.
But you must stop all your resist.
I’ll also try to understand.
To you, let me lend a hand
Let’s work together to be like before.
There is hope; we’ll both smile once more.
Dear Friends
This poem is to my friends.
Childhood pals, girlfriends, or pen pals.
Exchange students, Catholics or Asian friends.
Or whatever you may define you.
Time to time,
I see an old photo, a letter or postcard.
It reminds me of the times we shared.
And I hope you can remember too.
But today, I sat down and thought of you.
And I thought of you and of you too.
I know you’re living your life,
Just around the block, the country or the world.
Where ever you might be.
I just wanted to tell you.
I’m thinking of you all.
And I still love you
