She Was a Warrior All Along
it all comes back to..
Although they are only breath,
words which I command are immortal.
-Sappho
To the ones
who have found their soul.
The ones who are brave enough
to look upon the face of God
and die
but live to tell the story.
To all those
who yearn to…
Poetry or whatever it is I am writing is a form of writing in
code. Much like parables, fables, and fairy tales. There is the
main story and then there are many stories within the story. I
like to think every story is a love story.
In almost everything I write. I see the love story between
myself and my soul. Which evidently is mirrored back to me
by all the other relationships I have and have had. Romantic
or otherwise. My relationship with each of my parents, my children, and every other person I have loved. Even my relationship with or how I relate to money. The men I have
loved and especially the one who is the closest if not exactly
a reflection of who I am. All of them have shown me how I
have grown as a person and how I have grown to love myself more and more. How I am embodying love more and more.
I have been healing which is just a word to describe becoming aware of who I am and who I am not, accepting her, and
loving her unconditionally. I prefer saying I am evolving. I am
on a spiritual journey. An awakening if you will. This affects every relationship and everything in your life. It has been a
mostly solitary journey. As finding myself meant separating
whom I was told, influenced, conditioned, taught, or forced to
be from who I want to be and who I have always been.
I realize I have lived most of my life in a sort of bubble. In the world but in my own little one.
If you are on a twinflame journey (you will know if you are, without any doubt) you will likely resonate in your own way
with my words.
See
Our vision is often obscured.
What do you see?
People are more
and most beautiful
when we love them
because the real beauty lies
deep beneath the surface.
To love,
we need to discover
who and what
Love really is.
Embody love.
Find love first.
See yourself Beautiful.
The world
and how it sees you
will not make you
believe in yourself.
This is something
only you can do.
Decide.
Decide that you are
what you want to be.
Refuse to believe anything
to the contrary.
Persist with this knowing.
The knowing of who you truly are.
The you that is buried
beneath layers of fallacies.
Your own
and those of others.
Believe.
Know your truth.
Feel it in your entire being.
Until everything outside of you
reflects it too.
I see him
find poetry in my eyes
and he gets every word.
How it makes him smile.
Makes me smile.
Two hearts smile.
Humming the same tune.
Singing sweet melodies.
Our soul makes music.
As we find more of each other,
more of ourselves
to dance with
together in harmony.
To every new beat.
Every new chord.
Thoughts syncing.
Emotions stirring.
Bodies yearning.
Music and words
I don’t think he knows
how he makes everything
make sense.
He thinks I don’t know
that I make him feel
as if nothing
has any meaning without me.
That it’s all for me.
Even though he doesn’t say it
and won’t show it.
Not the way I want him to.
Forbidden love
Have you ever met someone
who
