Last year, I lost a very dear friend and though I still miss her she is part of the reason I finally got the strength to show my work to the public. She was a very strong yet gentle soul and through a lot of years she encouraged me to catch my dreams, no matter what they might be. She will forever be my angel and I will always remember her fondly.
I therefore dedicate this book to her;
Deb, you’re always in my heart <3

Introduction
Through the last 5 years of my young life two things have been my saviours. The first is music and the other is writing poems as well as songs. I have found these go hand in hand as I sit down to use my creative mind writing the melodic melancholy words to the music which I love so dear. Writing has become a way for me to let go as has the music and it has been a way for me
