Paul Her (Vang Pao Her) has completed his fourth book of poetry, which is the last part to his four book sequel. In his lifetime, he has published over two hundred poems and will seek to establish himself as a known poet. Paul will continue to write poems in the future, but in the meantime, he will work towards more philosophical books. Through his four published books, he has expressed many of his thoughts with poetic rhymes and meaningful stories. FOREWORD

O ne’s love journey is exciting, hopeful, and full of the promise of unknown tomorrows. It can at the same time fill the soul with bitter disappointments, loss, and loneliness. Paul Her’s second book of lyrics paints beautiful images in thought, at once bright and buoyant with the expectation of a budding romance, along the hills and valleys of jealousies, temptations, infatuations, and sexuality, to the abyss of deception and failure. Yet, through this journey of self-discovery, one stumbles across a fellow weary traveler whose parallel quest has them prepared to eagerly grasp hands and embark together on the adventure of life, filled with the fresh promise of shared goals, hopes, and dreams.

However, Paul’s lyrics are about so much more than romance, heartbreak, and finding one’s true love. Paul challenges conventional beliefs about religion, politics, and cultural mores.
