Thank you to Lynn, my old counsellor for the help and guidance that you gave me when I was dealing with the dark time in my life and felt worthless to the world and my family.

    Poetry P

    Pain

At first, I winced at the razor’s touch

Shuddering at the pain it caused me

    Now that pain is welcomed

    Anticipated

    Deserved

Leaving me with a satisfaction nothing else can fill

    Earnest feelings of anonymity

    An oddity

    A proneness to this blood

    A lust for this blood

    A thirst for the pain

    A yearning for these feelings

    Of discomfort

    Pain

    Glorified

    Justified

    Pain

    I am drawn to

    This drawn blood

    Little ruby beads of scarlet

    The hidden treasures

    That is included

    With this

    Wanted pain.

    Pain And

    Betrayal

    The pain and betrayal

Is still fresh in my mind

    The untold pain you caused

    That stays in your wake

    I was innocent

    You never were

You’re the one that did this

    And I’m left to suffer

    For your sins

    I’m not the puppet

    For your strings

    To be pulled

    Whenever you’re around.

    Pain And

    Heartache

    Why do we do this?

Cause so much pain and heartache

To the people we care for the most

Why do we speak words of hate?

    What does it cause except

A lot of pain and heartache

No-one asked for all these problems

    But now they are here

And need to be dealt with

    You hide behind other people

    Blaming them for your mistakes

    When you can’t admit that

You are the one to blame.

    Pain Of

    My Heart

    I’m filled with sadness

    The day approaches

    My heart sinks

    I know you’re safe

    Protected from the cruel

    World we live in

    But I can’t help

    But wonder why

    This pain in my heart

    Will never heals

    Always hurting

    Always remembering you.

    Pale

    Faces

    Pale faces

    Cast in blankets of white

    Unfolding

And their souls circled in dark

    Black

    Like liquorice

    Bloodshot eyes

    Look to the floor

    Ashamed minds

    Drunk on depression

    So, paranoid

    Scared of opinions

    Drunk until you leave

    Drunk until your sorrow drown

    Collect the cocaine

    Let
