Anne Hayward-Ball

Talented Anne Hayward Ball came to Tucson several years ago and performed fi rst at The Sportsman. Not only does Anne do trained vocalization in C&W, she’s a jazz and blues singer, plays some bass and rhythm guitar and has done volunteer video productions to give the talent in Tucson some television exposure along with working a full time day job as an optician. Anne puts in many tedious hours of volunteer work. Creatively, this New York born lady’s hobbies range from making stained glass, sewing, crocheting, painting, and bowling. Music has always had to take a back road in her life, but not because she has wanted it that way. At the ages of 5 to 7 she appeared on the US Kids on WHCU Ithaca, N. Y. and as a teen performed on the Lonesome Larry Show on WGVA Geneva, N. Y. Anne’s uncle owned a square and round dancing bam in Interlaken, N. Y. where she called squares and sang other tunes. Anne has appeared from New York to Pensaco la, Florida to Mobile, Alabama to San Francisco, San Diego, Texas and Tucson. Anne is also a writer of several songs, music and words. Basically a multi-skilled individual. Anne believes that the Lord guides her and all that happens is for a purpose and that the seeds we plant do grow to meet us.
