Love, Life, and Heartache is a collection of poetry that starts from an early adulthood when hearts were wild and emotions ran high. It continues through many years of broken hearts and deep loss. It tells of a journey through trials and tribulations to suffering with depression, and self-harm. The author's hope is that this book may help others find a way to cope with the roller-coaster ride of life and how to overcome it. It tells of a person who has suffered great loss, who has been badly hurt, and who, after finally, learning how to love herself, has learned how to love others with a full heart.

I would like to dedicate this book to my fiancé and best friend, Chris Breeding, who has had faith in me, and supported me through the good, bad, and horrible. My family who has always believed in me. To my children Chris, Gabriella, and Alyssa, who are my world and my reason for pushing on; my very best friend Jennifer Webster who has always been there and helped me through a lot of my trials. Acknowledgment

Over the years, while dealing with my anxiety and depression, I have written poetry of Love, Life, and Heartache. I have been through so much in my life and I feel many can relate to the feelings and things I write about. If I can help just one person to not feel so alone in their feelings and what they are going through by sharing with others, I would feel like I have taken a step to help people overcome their own depression and anxiety struggles.
