There are so many people to thank for putting up with my obsession to write my poems. First and foremost is my husband who has, literally, the patience of a saint and has supported my efforts to a point of waking up in the middle of the night just to listen to one of my new poems, and his constant encouragement to write this book.

I also want to thank my family, friends, and all those who follow my website and leave me inspiring comments, which enable me to continue. Without everyones love and support, this wouldnt have come to fruition.

My first book, Poems of the Soul, was a collection of my award-winning poems. I have written over four hundred poems and several short stories, some of which I intend to include in my next book. I’ve been writing poetry for many years when the feeling moved me but just recently realized I enjoy writing short stories of significance. I’m hoping this book will make a difference in the lives of children, teachers, and parents. My objective and ultimate goal is to distribute this book to the school systems as a learning tool on respect and compassion for all human beings.
