I Was a Victim of Covid-19
It came out of China, in a place called Wuhan
A virus so deadly it threatened every woman and man
It spread like wildflower everywhere
No one was safe not here not there
Isolate, stay home, stay safe they say
We’ve gone into lock down, there’s no other way
Little did I know that a victim I would be
From this invisible enemy that no one can see
It enters my blood, and flows through my veins
By now it was called Corona by name
No cough, no sneeze no pain in my chest
Just this feeling of tiredness, I want to lie down and rest
Lacking oxygen in my blood there’s not much I can do
But then when I try, I seem to get breathless too
I can’t walk or breathe and struggle to open a door
I feel weak and tired and just pass out on the floor
I feared for my family, I feared for my friends
I thought that for me this was the end
But I won’t give up, no I won’t give in
I’ll fight this enemy from within
A Tiny Angel Named Angelos
You were born into a world that had decided your fate
Unsure of what we should do, we could only just wait
As the doctors tried in vain nothing could be done
You had lost your battle, and we had lost our beautiful son
You were tiny, you were fragile you were ever so weak
We had named you Angelos which means angel in Greek
Three times you
