About this ebook

Remember Your Wings

Maybe I’m learning to love more,
Maybe I opened the gate,
Maybe I don’t have the answers,
Maybe this comes down to fate.

Maybe we danced once in heaven,
Maybe we’re angels on earth,
Maybe you’re the only one for me,
Maybe my heart was yours first.

Maybe your soul called out to me,
Maybe my soul pulled you near,
Maybe I’ve known you forever,
Maybe you’re the reason I’m here.

Maybe my heart sings only to you,
Maybe my love knows no bounds,
Maybe our love is so pure and true,
Maybe our treasure is found.

Maybe I’ll hold you forever,
Maybe I remember your wings,
Maybe I’m ever so thankful,
Your divinity to my heart sings.

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my family with deep love and to all the people who inspired me to write and to all poets and writers. The poetry contained herein is an acknowledgement to the healing powers of writing. Writing about the importance of processing and releasing emotions becomes artistic expression. Energy needs to flow. These tales are about releasing those blocks. Trust the process of unfolding and spiritual evolvement.

    Heart Song

    Soulmates had come and gone,

    They taught me many things,

Then you showed up and pierced my soul,

You taught my heart to sing.

Unspoken words like the deepest spells,

    Dangled from your lips,

With needle and thread and waves of light,

    You sewed up many rifts.

You’re unaware you’re an angel on earth,

You cannot see your own wings,

But the flutter of life you bring to my soul,

Causes my inner bell to ring.

The most welcome gift to come to me,

But I had to suffer to become more aware,

Of the depth of the blessings that you were,

When I found you standing there.

I’m in gratitude to the rays of light,

    Which radiate from your heart,

For the infusion of the deepest love,

You pierced me with your dart.

I’m honored to be part of you,

To recognize a part of myself,

You helped me to know I have the power,

To step out of illusions hell.

    Bless you for your goodness,

For your kind and gentle ways,

Bless you for your warrior’s strength,

And for your ancient, magnetic gaze.

Your eyes they pierce and hold me,

They speak wordlessly to my soul,

I love your soul so deeply,

And that love continues to grow.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Angel Waiting

Surround me with your wings of light,

    Clear the illusions which cloud my sight;

Whisper to me reminders, of things I no longer see,

Help me to remember, who is really me.

Falling through the veil, forgetting from whence I came,

    But a hint of recognition has sparked a tiny flame;

A spark of recollection of a love so deeply true,

And the slightest hint of vision, of a connection belonging to you.

Surrounded by your wings so warm,

Protect me from my self-made storm,

Show me the truths swirling in the mists,

Warm my lonely heart with a feathery kiss.

You are my angel, my twin, my friend,

Waiting patiently as I slowly ascend,

Into your arms and homeward bound,

My other half I have finally found.

Into a dimension which I am beginning to see,

As I grow it becomes a part of me.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Shredded Veil

He whispered in her ear, whispers of Holy Breath,

    An angel who reminded her, there really is no death;

Who have you been my beauty, and who are you yet to be?

He gazed into her eyes of Avalon, to see what he could be.

Remnants of the shredded veil, like gossamer in the mists,

Revealed his deepest passion for her, he could never resist,

She flickered like brilliant prisms, the complexity of her flame,

A gentle but cruel reminder, her wildness could not be tamed.

The wild in her was freedom, the freedom of love divine,

The unconditional fusion, which could not be bound by time,

Time is an illusion, a dream to keep man unaware,

That everything he thinks he sees, isn’t really there.

Not to be seen with physical eyes, the depth of the divine,

Rising above the false notion, the idea of ‘yours and mine’,

We are all connected, we all draw love from the very same source,

We don’t recognize this until, we find the kingdom within of course.

We really have no enemy, there is no threat to be seen,

Just the illusion in our minds, until enlightenment is gleaned,

What is hidden in your heart space? The kingdom, the key, such grace,

And when she smiles upon him, you’ll find no happier face.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    The Great Unknown

In the great unknown there is silence,

In the great unknown there is noise,

In the great unknown there is treasure,

In the great unknown is your voice.

You can enter there in meditation,

You can enter there in prayer,

You can enter there by going within,

And you will always find love there.

You may be guided there by angels,

You may be guided there by Source,

You may be guided there by the Masters,

When you find yourself on your course.

    You can access peace,

    You can access calm.

    You can access healing,

It connects you to your heart song.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    A Level of Grace

So deep this connection my soul feels, a particular level of grace,

    Light and warmth fill my heart, when I gaze upon his face;

What is this light within my heart, which gives me hope this day?

The fleeting things of this material world, but love is here to stay.

What are these words, what spells do they cast?

Are they whispers and reminders, that love does last?

Ours is an ancient connection, whispered through other dimension,

Experienced through channels of time, they’re aspects of higher intentions.

When there appears an angel in your midst, so glorious yet still light and dark,

This is just the tip of the iceberg, just the tinder, the tiniest spark,

Just a small part of a larger whole, the whole a magnificent thing,

Just a fleeting glimpse of beauty, enfolded in his wings.

He called to me from a higher place, from his soul without words to mine,

    He asked me to handle him gently, he descended here from the Divine;

Oh the challenges we will meet, and face them strong and true,

Initiations we must pass, we begin Ascension when we do.

We must get through the struggles together, we must nurture and nurture again,

    We must ever lift the other, a reflection of what we carry within;

A space of love I hold for many, but the depth of one can’t compare,

It’s this ancient connection so cherished, he is an angel of light so fair.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    My Delight

He came to me in the mists of a dream,

He was familiar and then again not,

He was a presence I knew in the form of an angel,

Opening me to things I’d forgotten.

I watched him glide around me all knowing,

He was studying me with a grin,

He was playful but he was mysterious,

He was waiting for something to begin.

He flew around me in circles,

Moving energies this way and that,

His brilliant eyes gazed into my soul,

Then he pretended to tip his hat.

His wings surrounded me as he swirled,

He was swirling through the mists of time,

He was taking me back to places,

Which were part of his journey and mine.

He shared visions of stunning memories,

Flashes of things good and bad,

Bits and pieces of emotions and experiences,

Emotions which made me feel happy or sad.

But he showed me that I must release,

Any sadness and pain I still carried,

On levels even unknown to me,

Or part of my light would stay buried.

The love which emanated from his soul,

He infused to blend with mine,

And the love we shared was eternal and unending,

In no way a product of time.

We had known each other so many times,

In so many instances through lessons we came,

And we always returned to each other so drawn,

We always recognized each other’s energetic name.

So much of what we think we experience,

Is only small fraction of all that is,

It’s the strength and knowledge we gain here,

That is part of our journeys, mine and his.

    He watches over me always,

He visits me while I sleep,

My soul journeys with him at that time,

And we reunite with our love so deep.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    She Was Like An Arrow

Arrows seemed to be flying by him,

With different choices for different things,

Confusion about his purpose and path,

And the uncertainty that might bring.

But an angel appeared upon his path,

Like an arrow pointing him toward his truth within,

Pointing him toward his inner wisdom,

And new doors began to open for him.

His heart opened in trust to listen,

To the ancient wisdom of his spirit,

He opened to allow more love in,

And to his inner voice as he could now hear it.

He learned how to release the old things,

The things which blocked his energy’s flow,

He was grateful for the arrow she shot,

Into his heart which pierced his soul.

He had been uncertain how to move forward,

Upon his crooked path which had been ripped asunder,

He needed a light shined into his darkness,

And there she was with her thunder.

She was an eternal warrior with a purpose,

Of the Divine Feminine to nurture and heal,

With a message of strength and balance,

She was compassionate and she was real.

She recognized the love inside him,

    The pureness of his heart,

And they came to discover destiny’s hand,

Had pierced them with the same dart.

He was the only man upon her path,

Which recognized the depth of her soul,

Who nurtured her wounded heart with grace,

And made her happiness his only goal.

He told her the things she needed to hear,

He made her feel beautiful throughout,

He lifted her back to her goddess throne,

His love was a gentle whisper and a passionate shout.

She helped him open the door to his heart,

Which he’d closed from painful loss survived,

But she helped him realize he could never lose,

Deep love which is eternal within which would always thrive.

    Wings of Love

    2.JPG

    Divine Angel

The love she searched for was an angel,

And his wings were light and dark,

He whispered to her from higher dimensions,

He ignited her with his radiant spark.

He watched over her graceful beauty,

From his sacred place on high,

He whispered to the depths of her heart,

She looked for him in the sky.

She saw him in her brother man,

And in her dreams at night,

He was never very far from her,

Even when he was out of sight.

She would feel his wings around her,

    Mighty with strength and grace,

    Gentle comfort and protection,

Would sometimes whisper across her face.

He healed her with his love for her,

    Ancient and strong and bold,

And he whispered to her in her dreams,

    Stories never to be told.

He loved her with exquisite compassion,

He was the epitome of grace,

    Never had she gazed upon,

    A more captivatingly handsome face.

His eyes they pierced her and held her fast,

She merged with his soul at that time,

She floated with him to the nether regions,

    To a majestic realm sublime.

The keys to know are gratitude and unconditional love,

    Acceptance and forgiveness, of self and all;

Listen to the whispers of your soul,

    And answer that sacred call.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Angel’s Call

We may not often hear it when angels blow their horns,

Though we hear them call to us to help the saddened and forlorn,

We may be unaware of the angels in our midst,

Though their presence is evidenced by our most beloved gifts.

The most precious gifts I speak of can’t be bought or sold,

    The people we love whose lives we share, their mysteries unfold;

Brought to us by angels in our time of need,

Friends who listened and obeyed, the angels’ call did heed.

Open hearts and open minds and open ears will learn,

That with faith and love and trust, for nothing will they yearn,

Of recognizing goodness which at first might not be seen,

Endless the supply of knowledge and enlightenment one can glean.

Thankful are they who realize the gifts which have been bestowed,

To help us ease or burdens and carry our heavy loads,

By doing for others and serving them in kind and gentle ways,

We thank our Heavenly Father for these priceless gifts He gave.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Wings

His wings came around me, stealing my breath,

But for growth to begin, there has to be death,

The death of belief systems I had discovered were false,

Shattering the shell of illusions, and breaking free of the dross.

I had to die to the old, in order to embrace the new,

He told me, ‘It’s really just a higher vibration of you’,

He swept me up and away with him, he showed me passion’s grace,

His gaze of love burned into my soul an imprint of his face.

He is my divine other, a page from my book of my life,

The other half of my soul, I am his eternal wife,

He made me feel an explosion, something which cannot be described,

He is the closest connection I will ever feel, from my soul beloved tribe.

An explosion of feelings surrounded me,

    Colors of light everywhere,

I didn’t want to return to earth,

I know my home isn’t there.

My home is in his soul and his soul lives in mine,

He took me out of this dimension, out of the illusion of time,

In the presence of the twilight, of the illumination of the stars,

I felt an instant healing, of all my previous scars.

He shuttered when he held me, like he needed me to live,

And the love I returned to him, was all I had to give,

Our energies united, were like a powerful flame,

And after that heavenly experience, I would never be the same.

But in reality he only showed me, who I really am,

That I’d forgotten my identity, I was his sacred dove,

But I have a raven side, he loves that just as well,

He likes my compassionate flame, when it bursts out of my shell.

My shell has fairly shattered, to bits and smithereens,

He’s blown my soul wide-open, to all the wisdom I can glean,

Love outside of this dimension, cannot even begin to compare,

With even the slightest pinpoint of light,
