About this ebook

Glimpses of her came to him,
On the wisps of a dream one night,
He could see so many things about her,
But her face was hidden from sight.

Her hair was long and flowing,
And in the dream it covered her face,
But her energy he could never forget,
Because it was filled with light and grace.

And the feelings of peace and acceptance,
Which he felt so strongly right there,
Swirled around him like soothing waves,
As did the tendrils of her hair.

He woke to the ribbons of moonlight,
With a smile upon his lips,
Because before she left him in his dream,
She had given him an enchanting kiss.

    Dedication

This book is dedicated to my family with deep love and to all the people who inspired me to write and to all poets and writers. The poetry contained herein is an acknowledgement to the healing powers of writing. Writing about the importance of processing and releasing emotions becomes artistic expression. Energy needs to flow. These tales are about releasing those blocks. Trust the process of unfolding and spiritual evolvement.

    Blessings, love and light.

    1.JPG

    You and Me

A piercing glance you cast my way,

    And something unspoken was known,

Trusting the recognition of your beautiful soul,

New truth to me was shown.

And as I opened my waiting heart,

You showed me beauty from elsewhere,

You drew me into your divine energy,

New hope in my heart I could feel there.

    Where an emptiness once existed,

Where sadness had lingered too long,

The love you whispered to my soul,

Was a gift like an angel’s song.

You held my soul in an amazing way,

And made me feel desired, loved and accepted,

Where before somehow for a long time I felt,

    Unheard, misunderstood and rejected.

So I asked if the angels sent you to me,

And I was told yes and no,

I was reminded that we agreed to this in spirit,

Before coming to this realm to evolve and grow.

You were supposed to come to me,

At just the right time you see,

To share our light on this planet,

Because there is magic in the uniting of you and me.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    The Note

She wrote a note to the depth of her love,

The part missing which called from afar,

Because the hunger for it was its own language,

She said, I call to you wherever you are.

She said, I know you are ever a part of me,

But there is a separation always calling us back,

It is an ache in the heart like an emptiness,

An illusion of loneliness and lack.

She said, I know it’s part of the test here,

And I’ve found pieces of it in loving connections,

But from this hell and incompleteness,

The result has been opposition and rejection.

She said, I know I am all of the love,

That I ever need to be,

I know I already have everything,

That I need here inside of me.

But how can that be when this feeling exists?

Like a magnet which pulls me to you,

But I don’t know where you are,

Even though sometimes I feel your love come through.

Sometimes I feel an enormous void,

Where I think you need to be,

And other times I convince myself,

I am fine as I am me.

Sometimes I feel your wings around me,

And in such comfort do I rest,

Until it’s time to rise again,

    To face another test.

I know you are with me through the battles,

And you know that I am strong,

    And on other dimensional levels,

We are together where we belong.

    Angel’s Laughter

When she laughs the world smiles,

When she shares her compassion from Grace,

With the finest thread she helps to mend,

The unhealed wounds of the human race.

But it’s not only the humans here who need healing,

So do our beloved animals too,

Due to man’s sleeping ignorance and selfishness,

So many seem to be stuck in darkness’s glue.

Their anger, pain and raging greed,

Their disregard for so many others,

Keeping them stuck in hellish state,

So many of our sisters and brothers.

But among us are so many healers,

So many compassionate beings of grace,

Who are messengers here for higher purpose,

And you can see the sadness in their faces.

But the angels are ever lifting them,

To work here for God’s love,

But not really under any label of religious denomination,

Which are so attached to boxing gloves.

When she laughs she raises their spirits,

When she laughs she heals herself,

    When she shares love unconditionally,

So many walk free out of hell.

    Zadkiel

    Archangel presence with mighty wings,

    Violet light for healing here,

    Forgiveness is the powerful energy,

The message so many need to hear.

    The divine energy of forgiveness,

At any time it can be called in,

    Especially when we rise above,

    The erroneous notion of sin.

Sometimes we ask others to forgive us,

But do we then forgive ourselves?

Because if ourselves we can’t forgive,

We might exist in a type of hell.

Zadkiel, is divine love and energy of forgiveness,

Through the strength of an angel’s mighty wings,

And if you are ready to embrace yourself,

Feel free to call him in.

    Forgotten Slaves

Slaves were not forgotten by their own,

In history some were written about,

For their stories to go on for deeper understanding,

Because something comes from everything now.

    From every earthly experience,

Wisdom is gained for the soul,

The soul evolves through hardships here,

    As above and so below.

The strength of spirit often got them through,

The difficult things which they faced,

It’s always about the truth of the spirit and soul,

Which has nothing to do with race.

    Slaves throughout the millennia,

In different countries, cultures and times,

    With different stories and experiences,

Of different colors and different tribes.

    How we function as humans,

What we contribute and what we learn,

Are the reasons we descend here to this plane,

Before our rebirth through transformation we burn.

Maybe some were forgotten through history,

Whether they were slaves or not,

But the soul of each individual,

Went away with the wisdom their souls had sought.

And how many of us are slaves today?

To ideologies, the rat race and the grind?

To religions, cultures or surviving this plane,

Until we realize we’re all connected to the vine.

Some people have different types of power,

    Which they so obviously misuse,

Not considering the consequences of cause and effect,

Of the decisions which they choose.

And every experience or thing they create,

They will have to experience as well,

At some point along their soul journeys,

    Whether it’s heaven or hell.

    No soul is ever forgotten,

In the higher planes of love,

Where the angels hold the records,

And exist with them below and above.

    Marble & Clay

She’d had a partner who didn’t truly see her,

Or maybe he was just afraid,

Maybe he knew her once upon a time,

When she was a goddess in a faerie glade.

Maybe they had come here to help one another,

And maybe now that was done,

Maybe the walls he built around himself,

Made her feel she was not the one.

Maybe on the walls were messages,

Lightly engraved there she couldn’t quite see,

Glimpses of the agreements they had made,

That it was time to set her free.

Is that why he wouldn’t engage with her?

Is that why he was such a recluse?

Is that why there was no fun between them?

Was it telling her to cut away the noose?

She was told she needed to have more fun,

She was told she needed to play,

She’d walked her path alone for so long in partnership,

It was like she’d been turned to clay.

But one day as she stood alone in the forest,

She seemed to be frozen like marble in place,

There came a man who could see beneath,

The familiarity he saw in her face.

He went to work with the tools he possessed,

With the skills and crafts of his trade,

And he chiseled with his gentle hands of love,

To restore and reveal the goddess of the glade.

And the smile she bestowed upon him,

Was as brilliant as the light in her heart,

She came alive with the right energy,

By one who recognized and ignited her spark.

He kindled the ember of her heart,

To restore it’s once radiant glow,

Because when it glowed, it glowed for him,

Which was the most powerful thing he’d known.

He breathed life into the abandoned one,

He saw in the marble what others couldn’t see,

And with nothing more than pure love and intention,

From her cage he had set her free.

She was ready for a very deep connection,

One which her partner would feed,

One where she wasn’t forgotten or ignored,

One where her heart didn’t bleed.

She broke out of the shell around her,

She shed her skin like the serpent renewed,

She cast aside the old burdens she’d carried,

And her aura took on new colors and hues.

    She sparkled like radiant fire,

    In shimmering beams of light,

She was rising from the ashes with new wings,

Ready now to take her flight.

She was a winged dragon of beauty,

She was the raven and the dove,

She was an angel with golden wings,

She was the energy of God’s love.

In flight over a changing world.

Toward the new earth she flew,

    And suddenly beside her now,

Was a familiar presence she knew.

Her restorer she had called in,

At a certain point along her path,

To show up when she had done the work,

    Of taking her power back.

Like her he had glorious wings,

He was so beautiful to behold,

He said, ‘You called for me, goddess, I’m here,

    For our destinies to unfold.’

    Angel

Floating in and out of the clouds,

    Twinkling between light and dark,

Glimpses of the moon in and out of the dream,

Are remnants of God’s own spark.

    Thunder claps in the distance,

    Or something rumbling quite near,

    Bright flashes of brilliant lightning,

And for a brief moment things are so clear.

    Moonlight illuminated so mystically,

Behind the shadow of the clouds,

Winds which blow in softest breeze,

Or in gales strong and loud.

He floated along by force of wings,

On a mission straight from God,

    To bring enlightenment and healing,

    Through experience, deed and thought.

    To help clear away illusion,

To disconnect programs which hinder so much,

    To sweep our temples frequently,

    Free from any crutch.

To free from us the falsehoods,

Which have so many in their grip,

To come into alignment with our truth,

    Along our paths we slip.

    To whisper to us gently,

    Is what our angels do,

What we gain is wisdom and truth,

When we allow it to come through.

He is a being of brilliant light,

    Twinkling on waves of Grace,

And if you could see him with physical eyes,

    You would recognize his face.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Boots and Tunics

    Angels with boots and tunics,

    Dance in realms around,

    Some carry swords or scriptures,

They are treasures to be found.

    Some are defenders and protectors,

    Some are teachers and guides,

Some are healers from the realm of divine love,

In rays of light do they abide.

    Quietly do they whisper,

    But not everyone can hear,

    Always are they present,

When asked to dry a tear.

    Written upon our sacred scrolls,

    Agreements forged in light,

Tests for us to remember divinity,

Our truth, our light and our might.

Some people though do not believe,

But that didn’t change the fact,

That the angels are guardians with us,

    Protectors at our back.

    Teachers of sacred knowledge,

    Angels in God’s service now,

    Archers of discovery,

If we let them show us how.

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Home in Your Wings

She awoke upon a bed of rose petals,

To the enchanting fragrance all around,

A riot of nature’s brilliant colors,

    Scattered in beauty she found.

In a quiet cottage in the woods,

    A private retreat or dream?

Where once in a while he would visit her,

Where the truth of love could be seen.

He would arrive there just to hold her,

In the security and strength of his wings,

In his angel’s arms he would hold her,

And the light in her heart would sing.

She said to him, "I am so thankful,

For the love which you share with me,

I am at home in your beloved wings,

    Where illusion ceases to be.

You remind me of where I came from,

From a place of love so much greater than this,

A place of home, of sacred grace,

Which parts of my heart and soul miss."

He said, "You are at home in your own heart,

When you choose to visit there,

And there you shall always find me,

Because we ever share that lair."

    Janine Palmer (Silver Moon)

    Witches’ Wings

What if those they burned as witches,

    We’re really angels here?

    Doing God’s work as healers,

But those in darkness couldn’t see their light through fear.

    Clothed here in human guise,

Continuing to do holy work on earth,

Angels of the burning fire of love,

    To help humanity with rebirth.

So many shun what they don’t know,

They judge what they don’t understand,

They label and hide in their boxes,

While all around them the shit hits the fan.

These loving angels of divine fire,

Reflect the goodness and holiness of God,

They were created from the purest love,

But upon them men do trod.

In their ignorance which is darkness,

Men try to control and rule,

But they are lost sheep gathering fear,

Which is spun from them like wool.

    Angels here as heretics,

Trying to share deeper understanding of the divine,

Were hung or they were burned,

Your brothers and sisters and mine.
