It’s not easy being a problem solver. You expect to never lose and everyone else expects the same! The greatest tool-sets I’ve ever used during my now 25 years in media and technology is the art of problem solving. There is a crafty mix of logic and creativity required too assisting with the problems of the world. I have come to believe that much like everything in life, every object; human; animal or noun, has its own functioning engine. Therefore, every problem associated with that person place or thing, has its own solution. Some problems have more than one solution and others have only one.

I live by a sacred code where everyone wins. This code includes part of my civic duty to be an active problem solver. Much like a female version of Superman, my abilities lay dormant in my everyday life as a graphic designer. I spend my days quietly observing the wonders of nature, and visually expressing my client’s goals and dreams onto a digital screen!

While I never felt like I had to go out of my way to be a superhero problem solver, when ever a problem presented itself in the face of Lucki, (that’s my superhero name) I found myself looking for the nearest phone booth to change in!

Knowing my purpose is my civic and God-given duty bringing positive change to the world! This book is dedicated to my Publicist and Best Friend, Nikko Toogood, and anyone who has ever faced a mountain, brick wall, trap door, pothole, misstep, storm, breakdown, break up, or just a good old fashion problem. I : Leave No Stone Unturned

What does it mean when someone says leave no stone unturned? The first step to problem-solving is unrelenting willingness to find what you are looking for. Most people, (including myself at times) have the attention span of a two-year-old when you are talking about things that they don’t have a personal attachment to, or care about at that moment. However, often, the solution to your problem lies in your ability to wait, watch and listen to the world around you. This beginning chapter is all about training your mind to run the marathon. After all, to get to the end of the obstacle course, you need endurance just as much as skill. First, let’s take a textbook look at the history of the idiom, leave no stone unturned, a well known and used American saying.

The phrase leave no stone unturned means making all possible efforts to achieve or get something done. Generally speaking, the phrase denotes using every possible option or exhausting every available resource when attempting to solve a problem or completing a task.
