    DEDICATION

I would like to dedicate this my first independent book project to my grandfather, Mr. Leander Floyd, Sr., who passed away prior to this book’s completion. However, his work ethic truly inspired me. I am so grateful that practically every time I went to my grandfather’s house, he made sure I was either watching the news, learning from some form of preaching or motivational teaching, or studying current affairs. As a young child, I didn’t know how any of those things would pay off, but let me just say Paw Paw didn’t steer me wrong! He was preparing me then for the work that I do now and aspire to do in the future. I am forever grateful.

    Acknowledgements

I never want anyone to believe that I stand solely on my two feet, that’s not the case. I am standing on many shoulders to do the work that I do. There are many great people who have contributed to my personal, professional, and spiritual growth. Many of you have contributed to me and the process that I endured while writing this book. I thank you.

I am blessed with the most amazing and supportive parents and siblings on this side of Heaven; I can’t thank God enough for you! To my family and my closest friends (who I consider my family), words don’t do any justice when I reflect on how gracious and supportive you have been. I will never forget the support that you have given while I’ve been on what seems to be a long journey to achieve my dreams. You have all put up with a lot! Thank you for your sacrifices and thanks for believing that one day it would all pay off.

To every mentor, teacher, and anyone who has ever given me an opportunity, I’m so grateful for you. To my brother Marcus, thank you very much for walking into my job (that I dreaded) and telling me to stop putting off this particular book project, I was really listening! To my sister Brittney, thank you for lending your expertise to manage the teams who worked to compile this project; I am forever grateful for you. I have a number of spiritual advisors and multiple church families who continue to show your love and support, thank you.

To my business support team thank you for your dedication and commitment to excellence. I thank you Eboyne Delaney and Dr. Uyen Tran- Parsons for the years of management that you selflessly invested in my vision; your countless efforts laid a solid foundation in the building of a brand! To the consulting and editorial team at Word Geniuses Literary Agency under the leadership of Goyland Williams, thank you for your support and services through this project. To my favorite barista, Caidin, who kept me caffeinated through the entire process of writing this book, I am so grateful for you! To anyone and everyone who aids me in any of my work or numerous endeavors, thank you; no effort was ever considered as a small effort.

I tried my best not to list names because I certainly didn’t want to omit anyone. I care that you know, this was not a solo project. This was very much a community project! To each of you I am humbled by our bond. I earnestly thank God for the knowledge and the opportunity to share this work with you. Without God, this work would be
