Understanding What Needs To Be Understood

About this ebook
If you're like most people, you’re working harder for the same or less money than you did five years ago. Maybe you’ve suffered a setback caused by the economy or a health issue.
Think for a moment, about the things you’d like to do, what you’d like to buy, and the places you’d like to visit over the next 5 years. Doing what you are doing right now, will you be able to afford those things over the next 5 years?
For most people the answer is no. They have resigned themselves to shrinking their dreams to meet their income. Don’t do that! This book will show you in simple, logical, realistic ways, there is a better way!
This book will show you how to grow your income to match your dreams.
It's very likely, you've had an opportunity (maybe more) presented to you that could've changed your life around - even better than you can imagine.
Whether you disliked the presenter or felt he/she was self-serving, or you were closed-minded and didn’t listen to the details, it doesn’t matter at this point. Unless, you still have a closed mind. If so, don’t waste your time with this book. (A friendly reminder, the most expensive thing anyone can own is a closed mind.)
This book explains how business strategies are changing due to the internet and expansion of social media.
Businesses are paying more for advertising and getting worse results. As businesses struggle to get customers, they struggle even more to keep them.
This book dispels the myths.
You’ll understand why you don't need to be a salesperson. You'll learn why you are encouraged NOT to ask people you don’t know to become customers. You'll discover why it's more important to have a few "loyal" customers.
This book will share what they didn’t teach you in school. You’ll discover how you can "leverage" time and "position" family members to benefit from one individual’s efforts.
You'll learn this industry is the only one with equal opportunity. Regardless of education, work experience, gender, race or cultural background or language barriers, anyone that can follow simple instructions and then teach those same simple instructions (think operating a DVD player) can become successful in this industry.
You’ll discover some people achieve success faster than others do. Some people will quit.
Most importantly, you'll learn the truth. This industry is right for everyone but everyone isn't right for it. If you're tired of being broke, tired of looking 5-10 years down the road and seeing more of the same, read this book. Get a different perspective.
After reading this book, find a business within the industry that is a good fit for you. Get started and don't quit! Think long-term. Think 5-years. If you do what you are doing now for another 5 years, is there any possibility you could be making your annual salary in a month? If not, you owe it to yourself and your family to look at another opportunity. In this industry, in multiple companies, people are doing just that. Not everyone is that successful, but more are beginning to be than ever before. The success stories are rising. The industry has ethical standards. Companies are evaluated and ranked. More "professionals" are joining the ranks. Colleges are offering courses and degrees in the field.
If one person can do it, it’s possible! (think Roger Bannister’s 4-minute mile). If no one in your current business has made their annual salary from 5 years ago in a month this year, it's not likely to happen anytime soon.
In addition to the insights you can gain by reading this book and understanding opportunities out there, there's also a downside if you don’t. You may keep your current job, struggling but comfortable. You may be comfortable and struggling, until you can retire on social security and make even less than you do now.
You deserve better. Your family deserves better. Don’t settle. If you can understand what needs to be understood, you’ll never have to settle again!
