    Introduction

    This compact, easy to read, comprehensive guide to healing of the body, mind and soul is full of valuable knowledge with simple techniques to help the reader gain a balanced healthy life both physically and mentally, bringing about their natural birthright to health and happiness. All it needs is a little effort and will power to dramatically change one’s state of health for the better. Like anything in life if no effort is taken, don’t expect any results! This is not a diet book, it is all about physical and mental well being, although anyone following these simple guidelines will certainly lose weight and of course feel much better in them selves. To be healthy both physically and mentally, one not only needs to look into what is going into the body, whether by mouth or absorbed through the skin, but just as important are the areas of exercise, right thinking and attitudes for a peaceful mind.

    Poor nutrition, bad habits, pollutants, chemicals, negative and destructive thinking patterns and beliefs can all lead to some illness or dis-ease, including premature ageing and possibly an early death! Obesity the scourge of the late twentieth and twenty first century is upon us, mostly self imposed, laziness, ignorance, stress and unhappiness being the main causes. As they say it is not necessarily how much you eat but what you eat! A person may weigh twenty five stone and at the same time be suffering from malnutrition, although their body has massive reserves of fat there is very little valuable nutritional content of correct vitamins or minerals in their body. Vitamins and minerals are held in rocks, rocks eventually break down to form soil, plants absorb the nutrients from the soil which are then eaten via plants to build and sustain the human body.

    In the following pages various avenues to health and happiness will be explored and explained including diet and the most nutritional foods for a super healthy body. Detailed explanations of relaxation, healing and psychological techniques are also included allowing for deep relaxation and healing for the body and the overburdened mind. The spiritual or soul aspect of ourselves is also covered as this integrates the totality of knowledge of our entire being and without it an overall understanding of our life situation is incomplete, we are beings of body, mind and spirit. All this will allow the seekers of health and happiness to eliminate negative traits or habits in their day to day lives which have resulted in poor physical or mental health and perhaps open the gateway into the spiritual aspect of their life.

    If you are reading this book then what a great start, you are on your way. Put the advice contained herein into practice and it will not be long before you experience a marked positive response from your body and begin to feel much healthier and peaceful. It is our intention to keep everything as simple as possible and as such we will not be bombarding you with a myriad of technical data and information as regards to food, nutrition and metabolisms of the body, as it would obviously take up too many volumes and is not necessary for the required results. We will however be giving explanations and reasons as to why or why not to consume certain foods including unhealthy elements and thought processes to stay away from. The body and mind are one, the state of the body affects the state of the mind and the state of the mind affects the state of the body. The body and mind have a great capacity to heal themselves as long as we give them the correct tools such as good nutrition for the body and silence and peace for the mind.

    The information contained in this booklet is gathered from various scientific, medical and health sources, my own experience and knowledge including the great universal truths such as those found in the great spiritual teachings of The Essenes, Paramhansa Yogananda and various pioneers in the nutritional fields. The Essenes were a highly advanced spiritual community who lived in the Middle East at the time of Jesus and before, they lived in complete harmony with nature and life, their sole purpose was perfection on all levels and attaining union with God, they all lived to a great age and were super healthy. The Essenes knew the secrets of life, drawing their knowledge from the intelligent universe. Jesus Christ often used to guide and teach the Essenes in the way of harmony and perfection of life, revealing even more secrets about the life energy and the potency of the simple grass. Even today man knows little of how life really works although this is beginning to change as the knowledge of light and life energy emerges. Paramhansa Yogananda a great God realised Indian Saint who brought Yoga to the West often talked extensively about health and nutrition revealing many truths about food not to mention the many great volumes of wisdom until his passing in 1952.

    If we follow nature’s example of how to live naturally, simply and happily we will not go far wrong. Nature knows best, after all she is our bodies, our bodies having been created by a combination of nature and the Omnipresent Divine Intelligence. Nature serves and shares all she has with all and gives everything freely, working in complete harmony, just the opposite to humankind at present! If humankind followed the example of nature, all would be well in the world today. Everything in nature happens slowly, perfectly and in complete harmony with the cosmic laws. If we would only follow her example in life, serve our fellow man, stop competing with everyone and everything and disengage from our stupid ego’s, how great and harmonious life on this planet would be!

    Understand that everything in creation is energy in one form or another, although there are deeper aspects of self such as awareness/consciousness and beyond. Most illness has as its cause an energetic imbalance, caused by an emotional imbalance, caused by a negative self belief, caused by a negative reaction to life’s events (words and actions or non words or actions of others) whether in this or previous lives. Not many physicians will understand this energetic link but it is the truth.

    Just to finish I must mention ‘Karma’ the universal law of cause and effect that governs the results or consequences of all mans activities. Karma is often a major contributor to ill health and sorrow one’s life, lessons have to be learnt, experiences have to be experienced and debts re-balanced all in accordance with the person’s soul agreement. You reap what you sow from previous actions whether good or bad including those actions from previous births. It is the universal law of harmony where all energy must be kept in balance. Of course good and bad are just the ego’s judgement, it is impossible to say whether something is good or bad! Once energy is brought out of balance due to mans transgressions against life, man has no choice but to suffer the consequences, thus re-balancing of energy, all life is energy. Although we are not going to cover this subject of karma in this book, I do recommend the study of the law of Karma as it explains so much about life and the causes of suffering (not all suffering is bad, it has its purpose!). Each soul is born with their life plan, karma and appropriate life lessons to be learnt. Also the soul chooses before birth how the various life challenges, experiences and goals are to be met and dealt with, pushing us to evolve, to become better people and eventually reach the goal and realise our own soul immortality. The problem with all this life work is that it can be quite painful especially if the ego is resistant or says no to how life is at this moment, but why make it worse than it has to be through our resistance to what is and our ignorance about food, nutrition, life and all the negative mind stuff.

    As Sai Baba the great universal avatar once said, "there are three things in life that cause ill health, worry, hurry and curry," Therefore do not worry or hurry as these will make you ill and watch out for those hot curries! Page 94 of this book may be the most important for anyone looking for healing!

    You are Your Physical and Mental Environment!

    Whatever is taken in by the body whether by mouth, lungs or skin contact has a direct affect upon the body including the mind and brain. Put rubbish into your body and prepare to feel like rubbish! Everything which passes into your body and to which your body is exposed to should be pure or pretty close to if you want great health. Your internal environment not only means the ingesting of pure foods and liquids but just as important is right thinking or attitude in your mind. Ideally the air you breathe, the water you drink, the food you eat, the thoughts you think and the feelings and emotions you experience should all be pure and positive. Negative thinking and emotions have a negative and destructive affect on the body, for example: prolonged stress or holding on to a strong resentment, frustration, anger or prolonged fear could easily result in cancer, blood pressure, heart problems and any number of illnesses. It is all dis-ease or not being at ease with yourself for one reason or another although it must be remembered that all psychological reactivity is created from the conditioned surface ego-mind. This disease not only creates physical stress/tension within the body whether one is conscious of it or not, but also restricts or cuts oneself off from the life flow energy within and without the body. This actual blocking and restricting of the vital energy disrupts the natural energy flow which vitalises the body, allows maintenance and repair all of the bodily functions including the cells and organs etc.

    The body is a vibrating electromagnetic energy field which lives on energy and so you can understand how stress and negativity can cause disturbances in this electrical, chemical, light matrix. Thought is energy, thought affects the body. Again it is very important to understand that most illnesses are caused by a psychological dis-ease, which means an emotional/mental dis-ease, not at ease, disharmony, energetic imbalance. All physical symptoms are just an affect and not the cause, all stresses in whatever guise will manifest as a physical ailment whether that is a simple rash right up to a serious life threatening illness. Nearly everyone on this planet lives with constant fear whether they realise this or not, whether that be fear of death, loss or fear of not being able to pay the phone bill to name just three out of possibly hundreds of different types of fears. All fear is illusory, not real and we must understand this if we want peace to shine in our lives, peace is our natural state just as it was when we were small children. Where is fear if we can not think about it or imagine it? nowhere, it does not exist in the reality of now, fear only exists as a thought, projected imagined future.

    Negative or blocked energy can be seen by Kerlian photography which allows one to see the electromagnetic aura of the human being and usually shows up as an actual grey or black mass in the persons energy field. Blocked or dark/dirty energy will eventually result in an illness somewhere within the body and maybe the whole body itself. Pranic Healing can easily remove this dirty energy though it may reform if the underlying cause is not addressed.

    In the world as it is today with its poor air quality, pollutants, chemical use, depleted soils, electromagnetic field disturbance, general poor states of mental health and false values it is not surprising that widespread health problems are an ever increasing concern. It is not easy creating a healthy environment in such a world as it is today, but with some effort we can go a long way in improving the situation. We can help ourselves and the environment by such activities as growing our own organic fruit and vegetables, eating healthily, not killing animals, recycling, being careful and aware of the chemicals we use and especially the thoughts we think and the beliefs hold, not forgetting self healing especially on the emotional level.

    Remember natural is best. If we can breathe pure air, drink pure water, eat pure food, think and feel positive, exercise regularly and absorb good radiations from the sun then we are on the royal road to fine health and happiness. Though the following information is simple, it is truth and if followed will transform your life.

    For a Healthy Body

    Life energy or prana sustains the body, it radiates from the sun as well as existing in all space, it is simulated into the body via air, water, food, skin, chakras and secretly into the medulla oblongata from the divine source.

    BODY AND NATURE CANNOT BE SEPARATED, THEY ARE ONE IN THE SAME. THE BODY IS WALKING NATURE, LIFE IS A UNITY, WHAT MAN DOES TO NATURE HE DOES UNTO HIMSELF.

    Clean Air

    Can you separate your body from Air?

    No—it is one and the same, no oxygen—no life.

    These days the air we breathe is often toxic to some degree. Emissions from power stations, industry, household chemicals, plastics, fire retardants, fossil fuels and even some air fresheners contribute to the toxic soup we breathe today. A typical person may have up to 150 different toxic chemicals in their body from air born pollutants from one source or another. People who live in cities or near industrial areas are of course subject to a far greater amount of toxins. We can all help the environment by using less power, clean power, shopping using re-useable bags (plastics eventually break down into a toxic dust which can pollute the water table), recycling, insulating houses and planting trees etc. The most pollutant free air will be found in such places as Antarctica and great old forests, which is great if you live there but not very accessible if you don’t. I do not advise visiting such places just to breathe clean air unless you live nearby, think of the aviation pollution! The next best thing is to find somewhere away from cities and industrial areas in the country. Mountainous areas and forests are ideal. If you can travel to these places at least once a week (by bike!) it will be great for your health and well being.

    As oxygen levels have depleted considerably since ancient times breathing is so important especially if you want to stay alive! It is very important to be constantly aware of your breathing and try to practice deep full breathing whenever you can, especially in places of clean air. Good clean air and correct breathing oxygenates the blood, liver and cells, bringing a relaxing feeling to the body and mind. When breathing in those places of pure air or even in your garden at home don’t forget to give thanks to the air for its life giving properties or as the Essenes put it the angel of air. Being thankful to life for the life giving air you breathe opens up a relationship with life and the benefits you receive are increased. Whether sitting or standing a correct posture is very important to allow the oxygen to be fully absorbed into the body, the back should always be erect and shoulders back.

    Practice the complete breathing technique as shown below as much as possible especially in those places of pure air and you will soon begin to feel much calmer and healthier. From the oxygen and its inherent life force the body sustains itself. Complete breathing is very relaxing and combats stress very well and is particularly beneficial for anyone suffering from panic attacks, it will also help to remove negative energy stored in the body.

    Focused aware abdominal breathing is a very powerful technique and its benefits for the body and mind are wonderful and too innumerable to mention here.

    Complete Breathing.

    Prelim:

    Sit or stand with spine erect and take three long slow deep breaths. Close your eyes, then gently focus your awareness inside or outside your stomach, take a long slow deep breath and at the same time say to yourself, relax my stomach. Continue in the same manner for your chest, shoulders, neck, back and eyes relaxing each body part as you go.

    Proper:

    For the first three breaths exhale as far as you can until all the air is expelled from your lungs, hold for two seconds then release and breathe in normally allowing the stomach then chest to fully expand. Then continue breathing naturally, inhaling through the nose expanding the stomach as much as possible but do not strain then continue inhaling until your chest is also fully expanded, hold for a second or two then exhale through your mouth or nose allowing your stomach then your chest to shrink back to empty. As you practise keep your awareness gently on your stomach, be aware of its movement and expansion.

    Practice this every day for at least five minutes and you will find that your normal everyday breathing will improve—more oxygen—more relaxed—more energy. As an added bonus as you breathe in you may like to visualise the air as bright golden light flowing into you, down your throat filling your lungs with light which then spreads throughout your body filling it with a beautiful golden white light. As the storehouse of life force or chi is located in the stomach, by focussing there and fully expanding the stomach as you breathe the chi properly circulates around the body and helps to remove any energy blockages.

    As a continuance of this exercise for super relaxation which may last for 20–30 minutes just focus your awareness in or just outside your stomach, keep it there and breathe

    normally but make sure your stomach expands to at least 75% capacity and do not focus on the chest expanding as this will happen naturally and to the extent required. Just continue to gently
