Today, many of us are seeking respite from overwhelmingly busy lives, looking to combat symptoms that aren’t specifically linked to illness or disease, but that we know ‘aren’t quite right’. Many are turning to alternative and natural health solutions, also known as complementary medicines, to target complaints such as fatigue, lack of energy, digestive issues, anxiety and stress.

The new brand of wellness incorporates a multilayered approach drawn from many sources including western, eastern and plant-based medicine, much of which is supported by new and ongoing studies and findings on the workings of both body and psyche. As more become attuned to the ‘health is wealth’ message and with the wellness industry well and truly booming, our health is no longer purely the domain of traditional medical authorities.
