About this ebook
- It seems like you hear it all the time from nearly every one you know – "I'm SO stressed out!" Pressures abound in this world today. Those pressures cause stress and anxiety, and often we are ill-equipped to deal with those stressors that trigger anxiety and other feelings that can make us sick. Literally, sick.
- The statistics are staggering. One in every eight Americans age 18-54 suffers from an anxiety disorder.
- This totals over 19 million people! Research conducted by the National Institute of Mental Health has shown that anxiety disorders are the number one mental health problem among American women and are second only to alcohol and drug abuse by men.
I have suffered from anxiety disorders caused by stress for years. I have learned somewhat how to cope with that although I'm always learning new things and dealing mechanisms.
So what I've done in this book is taken some of my own experiences and combined them with advice from experts to give you tools that will help you in stressful situations.
I've also outlined different ways you can face debilitating anxiety and panic attacks that many people suffer from. While researching this book, I've come across some amazing information and can't wait to share it with you.
I've learned so much myself, so let's look at how to eliminate stress and anxiety from your life!
Within this book, I will take all of my stress management knowledge to you for not letting it destroy your life anymore.

Stress Destroyer! Discover The Best Way To Stop Your Stress - James S. Walters
Chapter 1: What's Causing All This Stress, anyway?
We are in very stressful and challenging times, and nothing seems to be getting any better. Even though life may often feel very difficult and unjust, we manage to push through, day after day, hoping and praying that things will get better soon.
But the world is becoming weirder, more unpredictable, and more stressful on a daily basis. These days, nothing feels secure. There are unprecedented numbers of individuals who are in debt. Many people are losing their jobs, homes, health, and sometimes even their sanity. There are far too many individuals who appear to live with worry, sadness, and anxiety.
The Age of Anxiety seems to have arrived. In fact, Time magazine loudly and clearly announced this as the main subject in that issue on one of its covers in 2002. Many of us seem to lead lives marked by perpetual anxiety and concern as a consequence of the strain and uncertainty that come with living in the twenty-first century.
This ongoing anxiety and tension appeared to become worse after the September 11 terrorist strikes. In fact, many individuals say they are still terrified that something of that size may occur again, perhaps closer to them, four years later.
We are constantly exposed to upsetting visuals and tales when we turn on the news or read a newspaper. We start to doubt where we are secure. Never before have we had such easy access to so much information as we have in this era of information.
The economy is another source of stress. Both our nation and many Americans are in debt. Many Americans now work in monotonous and unsatisfactory occupations as a result of rising gas expenses, exorbitant housing costs, and even the cost of food. They work these tasks in order to support themselves. Nowadays, having a stable job is more crucial than having a dream one.
The stress is increased when there are more women in the workforce. So many women feel the need to be everything to everyone, including wage earners, housekeepers, mothers, wives, and other family members, sister and daughter. The only issue with it is that some women just don't carve out time for themselves, which contributes to their chronic
